Have Elliott and Gurley really been that mediocre this year? They’re arguably 2 of the top 4 RBs. I don’t care how good McC is one guy shouldn’t be more than them combined.

havent watched Zeke alot. Gurley is a shell of himself. not sure if his injury from last year is still lingering or what but hes not Todd Gurley anymore

If they're both at roughly 400 yards apiece through five games that still translates to almost 1300 yards on the season. It speaks more to CMC just going OFF so far.

176 yards per game is ridiculous.  Half of that is still 88ypg, or 1400 total yards.  So it’s not a slight to them that he’s ahead of their combined production.  

CMC was a yardage monster at Stanford too, he deserved the Heisman

Something is up with gurley, he’s not getting the workload he did prior, idk if mcvay has something up his sleeves or what’s going on but it’s not the same mvp candidate from a couple seasons ago

Plus Kareem Hunt who is currently suspended. 

Right now all of them have out rushed Gurley this year except Mixon and Ekeler. Unfortunately for me Mixon and Gurley are my top 2 Fantasy backs and are killing me right now.

Also McCaffrey, Cook, Fournette and Mack are the top 4 in rushing yards this year. 
 

Edit: would like to add McCaffrey is smoking everyone in yards from scrimmage total

McCaffrey’s 866 yards from scrimmage is well ahead of the pack and only 3 players are within 300 yards of him.

Cook with 742, Fournette with 655, Kamara and Eckler both at 583. Nobody else is within 300 yards of McCaffrey.

Gurleys arthritic knees are gonna hinder him and make him look like a shell of what he was from here on out, I think. And that’s a shame because I think he’s awesome.

I would say he was overlooked a little bit coming out of college because he was white.  I recall him having a high second round grade, which in retrospect is laughable.  No one can overlook what he's doing now though.
