4-1 Record, 8 TDs, 2 INTs...Matt Moore Ladies & Gentlemen

This is one dumb thread. Moore has been in the league for awhile and is actually still a back up. Not to mention Allen is breaking NFL records in his second year and Moore was never that good.

Are you and the guy named with a number not reading?  This is statistical perspective for those trying to downplay Allen's success.  I am saying he IS a lot better after others have pre-cautioned otherwise.  What the hell dude?

I'm just going to recopy this so it gets through as people see Matt Moore's name and are throwing sh*t at the wall:

In comparison, we are all in clear mind of KA's work this season.  Overall, I think Allen has MUCH better accuracy, touch, and energizes the huddle a ton.  Not to mention, I think Moore has and will always have sloppy footwork.  His step back is JV.  If we're talking game manager, Moore was a classic game manager.  Thing was, he was super young and in a similar vein got everyone super excited because we all know we were at Jake's end.  So what am I getting at?

Saxy's Take:

Allen is a step above a Moore from what I've seen.  He has not been asked to go out and produce a game winning drive but he's winning, not having overtly sloppy performances, and after some early fumbles, clearly cleaned himself up.  When Cam is 130%, he goes back in, we play Allen until then.

It's a terrible example. Allen's stats speak for themselves. Comparing Cam vs Allen is basically comparing a guy who played 5 years ago to a second year player now. It's backwards math.

It's not an example, it's a comparison people have been making so I decided to magnify it for better clarity.  Don't bash the person trying to help others understand that Allen is BETTER if you think, well, Allen is better.  I don't get where you're coming from in that regard.

I'm in no way trying to downplay his ability to remain as the starter or saying he's the same.  I'm saying hey look, they aren't as close as you think.

Fresh new take. No one has compared Allen to Moore yet on here. Pretty much like the simpletons who were calling Burns Everette Brown 2.0

Apples to Oranges, but are we saying you can't discuss how they taste different?  Huddle isn't everything, it's legit been in every IG, Twitter, Youtube, Reddit etc. thread I've seen.  Figured to bring it up.  If we're just going to bash the idea and not discuss how Allen is better, then this board is officially pointless as my usual threads :)

Why not compare Moore's first five games started to Allen's first 5 games started?

Moore's first five games:

4 TDs, 3 INTs, ~184 YPG, ~60% completion percentage.

Moore is still a solid backup, but Allen is simply better.

Edit: And Moore was 3 and 2 in those games.
