Falcons Shopping Vic Beasley

If anyone wants to go back and look at my posts about him back in 2016 during his “great” season, I was 100% spot on about the guy. One season wonder, I wouldn’t even take him for a 7th without him taking a massive pay cut. The guy absolutely sucks.

Unless there's a clear and obvious win-now move we can make, expect no trades from us people.  No need to mess with something that is working.

I could definitely see a mid round pick for an established returner.

Yeah I don’t get it. He’s got all the physical tools. Had that one amazing season. I read some posters on the Falcons site saying he’s such a nice guy he’s almost soft. No killer instinct.

Dudes a good athlete

Think he'd be better in a 3-4 on the edge off wider and in space

Dude gets manhandled on the line as a 4-3 DE much like many here were afraid with Burns if we stuck to a more traditional 4-3

    • It's definitely a historical issue at QB but to be perfectly blunt, we also don't do a good job of really developing almost any position if you look at the last decade or so. I tend to be on the side of that being far less a development issue than an evaluation deficiency.  I think we are in the situation at QB2/3 recently due to the overall roster being absolutely abhorrent and the QB classes being quite thin. It is harder to justify another Matt Corral(or several) when you can potentially get a real two deep contributor at other positions.  But, it was a lot of hard work to get to the point where are roster is so incredibly bad that luxury picks literally are not in our vocabulary.  This is the reaping what you sow portion of our history.
    • That is what I meant about our front office. They are like someone filling out a March Madness bracket based on preference of uniform colors and mascots. There's no rhyme of reason to some of these fugg'n mind numbing decisions they make.  They go all in on these flimsy-@ss prospects and are gun shy when it comes to more solid prospects.  It's literally maddening and the reason I stopped being so emotionally involved in this team. Heck the only reason I'm active on the board today is one, it's my day off and two, it's cut down time.
