Y'all trashing on Trubisky ignoring only seven rushing attempts. To put that in perspective, the NFL record for fewest rushing attempts in a game is only one less at six. It's been done three times. All three of those teams lost. One of those QBs was Tom Brady.

If you only run the ball seven times, you're gonna fuging lose. You're not even giving your offense a fair chance.

Trubisky still completed 63% of his attempts for 2 TDs and 0 INTs and somehow only got sacked twice despite being under constant pressure. The guy ended up playing decently despite a dog poo game plan. Put Tom Brady in that game and the Bears still lose.

Sorry, dude. I just don't think Trubisky is that good. And it's not like he's just starting out. He's had time to get good.

Now if you wanted to make an argument that he's had sh-tty coaching thus far in his career, I do think that would be a valid point.

I think Trubisky has been disappointing. I think Nagy has been an outright bust. Here he was hired to be an offensive guru and he's being carried by a great defense while his offense sputters. He's the reverse of Dan Quinn who was hired to be a defensive guru while he fields one of the worst defenses in the NFL.

I'm very leary of anyone coming out of Andy Reid's offense, whether it's a coach or a player. There are plenty of legit criticisms if Andy Reid as a head coach, but that man almost always fields an elite offense. Doesn't matter who the OC is, who the QB is, who the WRs are, etc. The man is a legit offensive football genius.

Not knowing how anything will turn out between then. They have to come into our house on the last game of the season before playoffs. That doesn’t bode well for them.

Bucs came to our house and look at how that turned out and they torched us in our own house big time. It may not bode well for us either being a division game.

I wouldn’t even look at their whole schedule. Look at divisional record. The truth of the matter is we sweep them or we don’t make it.

It is interesting that they’re only winning games by an average of 5ish points.

Yeah he is one of the worst in this entire league no question.  I imagine there's a bias from some glue sniffing local unc fans on here but the reality of the situation is that Mitch's future is holding a clipboard on the bench and the Bears look like idiots for selecting him over Watson and Mahomes.

He is, though his head coaching prowess is somewhat in question (at least when it comes to the playoffs).

Being great at coaching as a gift.

Being able to pass your knowledge and wisdom down to others is also a gift.

Some guys who have the first gift don't have the second.

    • And once again I showed you it’s been pretty even. We spent 2nd and 3rd rounders this past draft on edge rushers. No one’s going to sit here and do the math on a draft value chart etc. the only reason I even entertained this was because you said we’ve spent nothing on defense when that simply isn’t true. It also didn’t help we traded our ONLY WR worth a damn to trade up for Bryce soo… And this is kind of the issue with the anti Bryce crowd. This crowd tends to blame him for the trade up. I was team Stroud. Had the panthers not taken Young the only other QB they were going to take was Richardson. So your issue should be with Tepper, Morgan, Fitterer not Bryce.  Bryce is who he is and it was pretty obvious who he was during the draft process. Bryce is slowly developing into that guy most thought he’d be. Give him a WR like Jamo and this offense as a whole would improve greatly.  Anyone thinking he was the next Pat Mahomes or Josh Allen is clearly slow. Bryce was always going to need pieces around him much like EVERY other QB Burrow has Chase and Higgins and they’ve done nothing. After losing in AFC Championship in 2022, Burrow is 17-15. QB’s need a team around them It’s why a Jalen Hurts led Eagles team dismantled a Pat Mahomes led KC team in the SB Imo the QB’s doing the most with the least up until this year have been Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson  This year it’s Drake Maye and Josh Allen  Outside of the 3-5 elite type QB’s I’m not really sure what people expect here. Is Bryce ever going to be in that elite category? Nope. Should we punt on Bryce and keep swinging? I don’t think so. Should we keep swinging while hanging onto Bryce? Yeah but I don’t know what that looks like This team as a whole isn’t very good. Offense and defense and that’s the simple truth
    • I didn't move the goal posts. But anyone who follows football who wants to engage in a rational discussion can't argue that 10 7th round picks are equal to 10 1st rounders in value. The argument has always been we haven't spent as much on defense has we have on offense. Draft picks have value just like salary. We have not spent the same amount of draft pick salary cap on defense that we have on offense since drafting Bryce. It's not even close. Just the 2 1sts we used on Bryce, 2 overall 1sts have a value of 6000. That doesn’t even factor in DJ Moore or the 2 2nds. Bryce cost more than everything we've spent on defense in 6 damn years.
    • We need to hope this scenario plays our next week he fails with pressure…what that means with Evero, is beyond me
