...and a groin for a groin?

It seems the Packers might possibly also be down a starting corner tomorrow thanks to, coincidentally enough, a groin injury

The Packers made a late addition to their injury report on Friday and it adds to the uncertainty about who they’ll have in the secondary against the Panthers.

Cornerback Jaire Alexander was added to the report as a limited participant in practice because of a groin injury. He has been listed as questionable to play against Carolina.

Turner makes the gameplan for the offense.

Lol

Have you noticed Turner tayloring his gameplan to the opponent? Not saying he isn't, just saying I haven't noticed us doing this, and it's long been one of the things that bugs me about Ron's teams. I've liked Turner as OC better than what we had in the past, but I can't think of any specific examples of him game planning for a weakness like injuries to starters off the top of my head.

That’s what I’m saying not criticizing but wondering do we attack a team as much as we think we should. I’m starting to think maybe it’s because we’re limited with Kyles shaky deep ball so we’re somewhat limited. This week is no different if we’re in any type of snow Ron may scrap any normal passing plays past ten yards and go full conservative all game.

It's definitely a bigger loss for the Panthers if Bradberry doesn't play. I don't see Kyle Allen and our receiving corps really exploiting a weakness at corner and you sure as hell can believe Rodgers will try to take advantage of Bradberry being out. I think we can weather Bradberry being out if that's ultimately the case cause Cockrell has proven he can step up and be a serviceable starting corner if necessary. But it sure doesn't make things any easier.

What worries me isn’t Cockrell, cause I agree he’s played well. What worries me is Rogers targeting the guy who now has to come off the bench and take Cockrell’s spot, which is Elliot. Much and more might depend on how he can hold up in coverage.

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
