He's 23. He can cleanup the turnovers with a full season of coaching and reps as a #1. 

Cam is like 65 in QB years.

Getting a bit late for that .  I bet few damn teams would be willing to pay him 20 million for next season.  We may and I wont fault Tepper for going either way on it.    At this point in his career, Cams health is a crapshoot and if you cant figure that out you aren't being realistic.

I believe Newton would have folded during that last drive with the piss poor Oline. This is where Allen is head and shoulders above Cam, he has the mental makeup you want from a franchise QB. He is far from perfect, but he's 23 and Cam is not coming back.

I actually think that last play was a touchdown, but they weren't going to overturn the call on the field.

Of course, even then we'd have had to overcome the dumbass decision to go for two on the previous touchdown.
