Despite the effort today, does the loss still put Tepper over the top towards firing Ron?

So the organization has more time to conduct an adequate coaching search. It gives them time to evaluate prospects the rest of the year.

I truly hope they have already started that process by now. He can still remain HC while that takes place, with or without his knowledge of impending dismissal.

Yea he's gone. Dood couldn't capitalize on a PI gift call that never gets reversed and still couldn't get it done.

In a way that is a microcosm of his career as a HC. No matter what he is given(Cam/Luke/CMC) he will come up short.

At his best he is in the bottom of the NFL at gameday management. His only and I mean ONLY thing he could hold onto was he could call defense and even now his philosophy has shown itself to be outdated and he most certainly does not adapt his defense to the personnel but tries to make the personnel adapt to his defense. That much is obvious. The 3-4 switch is a Tepper mandate and will obviously take a few years to convert fully.

That's the part that frustrates me the most with our franchise...  we fielded 3 or 4 potential HOF'ers TOGETHER over the last decade, and have almost nothing to show for it - all because of Ron.  Few franchises could botch such a situation up any worse...  and we'll likely never get that opportunity again.

I honestly wish Tepper would've just cleaned house when he bought the team.  Putting up with Ron's mediocrity under JR was somewhat expected, but that's where it should've ended.

All timers at QB and MLB and 1 SB loss to show for it....and a white dood who can actually play RB...wow only Ron for real.

We should have stole this game. But I think this game could have very easily got the usual route. One back breaking TD is all it would have taken to make this a 17 point loss game easy.

i appreciate Ron’s ability to inspire his players but those 4th calls were objectively bad decisions and could have cost them the game a lot sooner.
