Scarlett to IR

no, that's the point. Plus it seems like they want to give Davis a possible look. So this is just a end of the season dump to get OL help on the active roster.

Lundblade and McGhin's pictures are in Websters right beside the definition of "difference makers".

I didn't like the pick when it happened.  I figured he would get 'CAPed' or 'Andersoned' anyway.  True to form, Scarlett got some STs snaps along with some of the best seats in the house to watch the games.  He was a slight reach in the fifth round and we had bigger fish to fry than a 3rd string RB at that point.

I sense it needs clarification, sadly.

Ok, here goes.  When Hurney realizes he has put together yet another dud of a roster, he insulates himself and his decisions by sending his FAs and Draft picks to IR.  This, in the past, has given him an excuse for ol JR that “if his guys were healthy....” and it would work.

If Tepper has half a functioning synapse he will see thru this ruse immediately.   I hope.  I pray.  I beg.  I beseech.  I implore.

It’s pretty common for Marty whose teams haven’t been in contention late in a while.

Also, no this isn’t common. Most teams out of contention would rather get their 5th round pick work than get a look at a guy who’s at best a camp body. It makes no sense that Scarlett would be the guy you don’t want to get a better look at.

This is the typical cover your ass approach and get the IR list long. We picked up Davis and Moncrief and they have yet to touch the ball. When are we going to take a look at them to expand our roster?

No, this is pretty common with players with minor injuries. It's not up for debate as it happens every year. You're about to see many teams do similarly when they're eliminated from the playoffs.

Getting young guys reps when they're injured, even if minor, isn't something that coaches do however.

Why do I even bother.
