If Cam is traded will you follow him to a new team?

That would be like the biggest QB trade in history. I doubt we would get a first much less all the other stuff.

Which is why it would not be smart to move him, we won't recoup the value, that's my whole point.

People on this board are so quick to dismiss him as our QB and already are pushing him out the door, and for WHO.....

There is NO ONE on the roster capable of playoff / Superbowl caliber QB play, and overall our roster is not good enough to carry a rookie, even if talented. We need a QB that 1) defenses have to prepare for and 2) makes players around him better.

Those people already left, 'fair weather fans'

Maybe some but I don’t think so. A lot are clinging on to Cam being willing to play next year on one year (hopefully). Or (god forbid) an extension. These aren’t fair weather fans, these are fans of Cam.

I honestly don’t follow fan favorites after the Panthers like Smith. I really won’t care about or follow players after they leave.

I am pretty sure I’ve only seen one poster so quick to dismiss Cam for no one else and I’m pretty sure he was a troll.

Generally speaking everyone wants him to come back on his last year to see if he can still play. Now no logical person would extend Cam before playing so there’s a good argument whether to keep him then.

There are one or two pushing to trade him and these people are delusional thinking someone would trade a couple firsts for him lol.

We have recouped his value. If there is any serious doubt that he can be 100% we take a 2nd and a 3rd if someone would give it up. Granted maybe we think 80% Cam is still worth it which would be fine.

If Cam isn't a Panther next year and goes on to some other team, it will sadly mean that someone has bought damaged goods because Cam wasn't able to, and maybe can't, heal up.

If that's the case, I'll wish him luck, but man, I'm a guy who bleeds black and blue. The Panthers are my team unless they pick up and move elsewhere.

I'm almost done with the NFL anyway, so this could likely be the tipping point to put me over the edge of not really caring about football anymore. That would certainly mean that I wouldn't follow the Panthers as closely anymore.

I've given them over 25 years of my life. That's plenty, especially if we allow some small part of the fan base to run our best QB, and certainly one of our only "franchise" players out of town because of "reasons" that they pass off as injury concerns, etc.

He's 30 years old, which is still young by franchise QB standards. Yes he's been banged up a bit and, yes, next season is the final year he's under contract. Moving forward, he's our best hope.

    • Play point guard while throwing to… in 2023: Mingo - bust. Hurt/hasn’t done a thing in Dallas. Well on his way out of league  Chark - no longer in league  Hurst - no longer in league Marshall - hasn’t done a thing  Sullivan/Strachan - pretty much same dude. Both not playing  Thielen - hasn’t done a damn thing since he left Carolina  Miles Sanders - nothing    2024: Legette - rookie WR who still has no idea what he’s doing  Mingo - see above  Coker - when he did play/healthy he was solid  Thielen - see above  Sanders - bust Diontae Johnson - headache. Out of league. Failed on 12 teams in 2024 There’s more names but again all irrelevant and doing nothing in the league. This is the crap and turnover Bryce has dealt with the first two seasons. Given the type of QB Bryce is he stood no chance with these guys. We’re finally seeing improvement because there’s some consistency at least now. It would be nice if we could get Bryce a tight end worth a Damn so he could use the middle of the field more often. Plus we’ve had 10 different OL combinations this season as well or something absurd  What an absolute disaster this has been since the trade up.
    • I mean we are limited in our options realistically, Howell is a Baker esque player who put up 4k and 22tds in his one year starting... with no weapons and a horrible oline. Oh I'm sure out the gates he wouldnt have a chance vs teppers golden brycey but if we stumble out he gates again Canales may injury list him again to try and save his job.
