DJ Moore and CMC

This is with a few games to go.  They are hitting numbers combined not achieved since Edge and Marvin Harrison all with a backup QB.  Not joking, it was said on something (I'll dig it up for backup/specific stats)

At least we've got these two:

DJ Moore

the-flexpert-roll-with-panthers-dj-moore

86 REC | 1,174 Yards | 4 TDs

Note: Only a 3.3% drop rate, it has gone down .4% since last year.   The guy is good but we refuse to design plays for him in the redzone.  Top-12 receiver in the league IMO.

CMC

833a60331a6882ccf74566405d387b77?width=6

1,307 Yards | 5.0 YPC | 94 Rec | 814 Rec Yards | 18 Total TDs

Notes: Leads the league rushing/receiving TDs with 18 total.  Leads the league in scrimmage yards.  CMC should be able to pass Kelvin Benjamin on all time receiving yards in Panthers history this year lol.  Already passed Funchess.  2 80 yard TD runs this year.

At least we've got these two.  Now can we just get some damn lineman and a reliable situation around them?  I mean, dangit fellish swells we ain't no gon' sit back and get into some bojanglin'; mixin' on up our stead and relish with tomfoolery into oblivion.

DJ is starting to show up every week and I'm still not giving up on Samuel but needs work on his hands. As bad as our oline is there are some young pieces that we need to develop and put in the right position. Would love to get Trent Williams if healthy and hopefully cheap

DJ lacks aggression.  Not in a "doesn't have any" way but more of a "uncertain if its ok baby giraffe learning to walk" kinda way.  If he (im sorry for this) "finds himself" and understands his ability he can be a true #1.  Next year he should be ready to "make the leap" that most 3 year players see.

He's third in the entire NFL in receiving yards, with Kyle Allen throwing him balls, at 22 years old

He's going to break Larry Fitzgerald's record for receiving yards before the age of 23

Third

Does anyone doubt if Brees were his QB, and Michael Thomas was catching balls from Kyle Allen, that he would leading the NFL in receiving yards

And he's 22 years old

He could end up being the best WR in the NFL.

    • Thats a weird take, we had no chance at keeping Kobe
    • "by name"?  You mean they are letting him say he is retiring or stepping down? That's even more embarrassing than being fired (he basically quit) and so transparently false that the media will kill him and this university.  If this happens, I may just turn full fledge to an SMU fan since I live in Dallas now. I'm just about sick of this university's approach to basketball and football.
