Del Rio to be DC for DC lol

It will get Del Rio another HC job next year and then Ron will hire from within again and again. It's McD all over again. Start competent and become less and less as time goes on. Please remember, the Browns were champions last offseason. Expect the same in Washington this year.

Wow.  Did not see that coming...  Ron hiring a competent coordinator?

This is actually very disconcerting.  Is it possible our owner(s) meddled that much and kept him from doing so here?  Wow.

Why would they not want competent coordinators?

I have no idea.  I can't make sense of it unless it had to do with control somehow?  Just seems out of character that he employed so many friends towards the end here instead of competent coaches, gets a new job and immediately hires a respected DC with previous HC experience immediately.  Just seems...  not like Ron.

    • i presented this in another thread. he throws better to the out breaking routes the wr run, but almost nothing to the inside. that is half the options on a wr route tree. How do you run an offense like that?  even the outbreaking routes he throws are moonballs, that allow the DBs to catch up unless the wr is wide open. he has to throw with a lot of anticipation becuase he doesnt have the arm strenght to get it there if he is a little late. thats probably why you see balls behind the wrs.
