K'Lavon Chaisson surprise Panther 1st rounder

Hes going to jump up the boards, too much to like in a light D-end class. He torn up a few of the top OT and should do the same at the combine. Panthers only have Burns and questions(I like miller). Hes young even for draftees and Brady knows him well. College teams had to game plan against him on a stacked LSU team. Me likey!

Theres way too much of a drop off after Chase Young is off the board. I'd hate this pick at 7

If Burrow, Tua, Herbert are all going above us its going to drop someone ranked number 1 at their position to us which would be a much smarter pick . Whether that be Simmons (LB) ,  Brown (DT) , Okudah (CB) ,  best Oline in the draft , or even Jerry Judy (WR) . All better values.

    • Does this mean only topics from within the last year or any topics with posts from the last year? i.e. if there are any old threads we feel should be kept around for whatever reasons, would a bump of that thread before the update ensure it's kept around in full or do the posts from more than a year old still disappear?
    • I'm more intrigued at him becoming our future LG. There were some people who thought he was better suited to be a guard in the NFL to begin with.  Then if Freeling ends up being a legit LT, moving Ickey to LG could give us an incredibly strong left side of our OL for years to come. Ickey has only played on the Left side his whole career, both in college and the NFL, so I just wonder if keeping him on the left side, even if shifting inside, would be better than putting him outside on the right side. Just hoping him growing up a Panthers fan will make him want to stay here and move positions than enter FA so he can stay at LT somewhere else, particularly since LT is the big money position on the OL, so he likely can get paid more by someone else to play LT than play LG or RT here for us.
