Olsen will likely end up in the HOF.

Will Cam?

Stop nut-hugging and think objectively now....

Does this even really matter?

Why are you pitting them against each other? Together they both flourished in their prime. It was a sight to behold. But everything changes.

Try not being just another run of the mill social media curmudgeon, you might actually enjoy life bub.

Well Cam was an MVP of the NFL, Olsen wasn't. I'll post the same stat from yesterday.

Percentage of NFL MVP QB's that are current HOF(only includes HOF eligible players): 62%

I think Cam being a HOF player is largely going to depend on the length of his career. He is currently on track to post HOF caliber statistics and has that MVP on his resume. If he added an NFL title to that, I'd say it is pretty likely he is a HOF candidate.

Also, the competition to get into the HOF at QB is pretty stiff. Not so much as a TE. That doesn't diminish the great career that Olsen has had, but it is the truth.

Current Cam's rushing TDs are the ONLY thing that would get him in. Otherwise he'll miss the cut time and time again. So yes, he might get in. But after multiple years of eligibility I'd imagine.

Why do you think Cam has such .. average .. passing stats?

Cam could throw the ball with the best of them .. the Rodgers, the Peyton's .. how though, with what he had to work with?

Rodgers, Peyton Manning, with the cast Cam has had on offense majority of career would be toast

People don't get it .. we're talking about some of the worst overall offenses in the NFL, the Panthers have fielded, since 2013 - the only thing keeping the offense bad enough to wreck the entire team, 3 wins, was Cam ..

Please.

Hey guys Cam Newton hasn't been healthy in 2 years but lets shop him and get a 1st round pick in return. It works on Madden so it must work in reality.

lol video game nerds. I can't blame them I thought the same when I was 14-18 years old. Then I grew up and realized video games are not reality.

*It's sad that you have grown men 30+ who still thinks like this.lol

Something tells me you haven’t grown up nearly as much as you think.

I can’t quite put a finger on what it is... but it probably has something to do with how immature you sound

Did I single you out?

Nothing wrong with playing video games at 30+, but when you take video game trades into reality it shows a sign of immaturity. Im 30 and I play the video game every now and then. Nothing is wrong with that.

Here is what I would do.

Oakland is moving to Vegas.  They need a big name at QB to get the new Era started right.  Carr is not the answer.  Gruden likes Cam and his toughness.

Trade Cam to Vegas along with our second, for The 19th and 80th pick plus next year's first (probably a mid-20s pick).  This puts Cam's value right around the 11th pick in the draft.

This gives us two first rounders to shore up the lines, and an extra pick next year to move up and get the QB we like.  If Cam is healthy, Vegas gets an experienced and tough QB to make a playoff run. Win / Win for everyone.

Don’t think Panthers are getting two firsts for Cam, even with a second going their way. Think they’d be hard-pressed to get even just the 2020 pics in that package.

I feel like everyone is trying to put Cam newton on another team but The panthers

Believe it or not alot of Panthers fans are ready for us to get rid of Cam. I'm kinda torn. I just don't feel like alot of people are confident he can come back close to the 2015 season. And the reality is that was 5 years ago.

They don't take into consideration "what could have been". His passing stats aren't that good. Period. Without his rushing record he'd have no chance at the HOF.

I'm not even sure he fits the system anymore. Timing passes and accuracy hasn't been his strongest attributes in the past even when 100% healthy.
