Person: Trading up for Burrow is an option for the Panthers

I agree, I think we might trade up but really hope not.  I would love Brown and maybe a move up from round 2 for QB, but Eason (my guy) is probably gone by pick 14.  Colts or Bucs grabbing him.

I don't want Love or Fromm, both aren’t accurate passers.

99% we stay where we are. Pointing out possibilities that anybody can see is theoretically a possibility isnt making a prediction. Its filling space.

When Rhule and Tepper talk about taking time and building things the right way it hints they wouldn't do the opposite

If I had to make a bet I'd say we stay put too simply because the vast majority of teams do so that seems the safe bet, but I definitely wouldn't put the odds at 99%. Tepper sure seems like an owner that loves to make big splashes and he also seems very open to the idea of moving on from Cam but I think he knows he can't move on from Cam and field warm bodies at QB without really riling up this fan base... while wanting a shiny new stadium with heavy taxpayer contributions.

Imma just say this, i didnt think we were getting Rhule or joe Brady So im not putting it past Tepper to pull this off.

This dude is not Jerry Richardson, and if you are not putting Cam on the field next year its a serious blow to the morale of the fanbase. He knows he must generate some sort of interest in the team for next season...rebuild or not.

This might be it.

Taking a more sober look at this, there's really one move to net more picks pre-draft:

Move Cam, I'm really not seeing anything else.  I think at best it's a 2nd and 4th.  At the very best.

And we're probably talking something like this...

2020: 1st, 2nd, 2nd (via trade), 4th

2021: 1st, Late Comp.

2022: 2nd, Late Comp.

...and maybe throw in Donte Jackson haha

That would leave us with:

1-1

3-7

4-Via Cam trade

5-7

6-7

7-7

Not awful.  Giving up our first next year is the killer but if this is the QB they want, Tepper is going to do it folks.  He went out and got the hottest HC name, then the hottest OC name, and now, he may want the top QB.  As long as we figure out how to still have 5+ picks this year, it could be a risk he takes.  Just saying.

Moving Cam is a no brainer if you're making this move. The only move that we could make that would likely make a dent in what we'd have to give up would be the same move that would kick the training wheels off of Burrow's NFL bike - trading CMC.
