Nope. It was the company that arranged all of it. They paid the Ford hospital a bunch of money to do exclusive testing for us at the job site. Got tested once a week for three weeks. One antibody test and three COVAIDS tests.

"I can't get a test."

"I got tested 3 times."

I'm out.

I never tried to get one. They were required to work on site. I didn't seek them out nor pay for them.

They literally set up a temporary testing spot at our workplace.

Some of you clearly have no idea what a post major asteroid strike Earth would look like.

If time was in a fews favor they could get to those mountain bunkers and "live" there. I know CO had a few made for the elite of the elite. Maybe after a few years parts of the earth would be "healed". White house has one too, Seattle had a couple too.

anyone know why we're being warned about the 2nd wave?   is it just a convenient way to talk about it?   initially the situation was the first wave may not be done until december and to my understanding we are still in the first wave.  we are also still in the initial prediction range that there would be 170,000 - 2.2 million deaths in the US by december.

We could already be in the second wave.  Why? There was a ton of sick people in America in December, but supposedly Covid-19 didn't get stateside until January, so it got dismissed.  There's on problem, everyone is taking China's timeline on this and they have been caught in lie after lie.  China says it wasn't a concern until December, but dots are being connected showing this was a huge deal prior to then.  So, if the Chinese timelines are skewed by a month or two (probably intentionally), then so can ours.

There was a WIDE SPREAD respiratory illness that went around my work in mid-December.  Could it have been just the seasonal flu that hit hard at my job?  Possibly, but it had all the markers for Covid-19.  I have talked to a good amount of people that had the same symptoms or personally knew someone with those symptoms in December.

According to articles I have looked at regarding the Spanish Flu, the waves hit roughly 4 months apart.  There was three waves and took a little over a year to complete the cycle.  The 1918 flu hit in spring, not winter like Covid-19, and it was deemed most under control by the summer of 1919.  If Covid-19 cycles similarly to the 1918 Spanish flu, we are in the 2nd wave.

My entire family was sick in December, in fact, we did not have Christmas gathering until early Jan.  My mother was in the hospital Christmas Eve and Christmas day.  I was there with her cause the rest of the crew was fighting respiratory "bug"

People are saying by ending the lock down along with Memorial Day celebrations are responsible for the current spike in cases.  However, following the 1918 Flu trend, the timing of the spike was right on point.  Sure those two event surely contributed to the spike, but I'm saying it would have likely happened anyhow.

My wife exhibited the common symptoms of a moderately-affected person (dry cough, on/off fever and fatigue for weeks) in December and a medical professional I know who treats many soldiers from a nearby army base with lots of global travelers was seeing numerous cases fitting COVID profile back in November. There seems little doubt that this was around since at least late Fall 2019.

Especially if people were traveling to and from China or had interaction with Chinese nationals.  I have a feeling their government didn't sound the alarm until they couldn't cover for it any longer, which would be once it got out of control.  Obviously the Chinese government would not acknowledge they knew about it as far back as possibly August or September, that would only reinforce their ineptitude and culpability in dealing with a pandemic.

45catfan that still doesn't make any sense.   the first wave isn't over until the virus has had a chance to reach all areas and all people. that's the end of the first wave or pass.  i guess its just semantics because nothing has changed at all from the beginning credible scientific information we had in march.

also, great, now i'm sure the fbi is looking at me because my username is the same as the new seattle warlord

    • Yep, the Panthers powers that be seem desperate to convince themselves he can clear the bare minimum bar of demanding a legit franchise QB contract. Canales seems to be laying the groundwork here of building the case that all of Bryce's shortcomings are still there and even more glaring than you may have thought while his strengths aren't nearly as strong as you had hoped and aren't near enough to make up for the lack of pure physical tools. When you have historically anomalous lack of measurables you need historically anomalous positive intangibles to make up for it. That was always issue with Bryce as a prospect. Like Parcells said when evaluating him, "he better walk on water".
    • I'm honestly not sure how much "west coast" plays into it. There's a huge difference between Tucson, AZ and Spokane, WA where he spent the previous two decades of his career. Chapel Hill is significantly different than Spokane but way more similar to it than Tucson. You're talking about a pretty significant plane ride to get back home either way. He and his family would be flying private and direct so we're talking about a 3ish hour flight vs. a 5ish hour flight. That's basically a wash. It's not like he went from Gonzaga to another PNW program. Tucson is a dramatic departure from Washington state. Honestly a far bigger departure climatically and scenery wise than Chapel Hill would be.
    • When asked if he thought he was close to returning to game action, "When you skate just with the goalie coach, it's tough to understand what your level is. Today, Svech scored on me a couple — probably a bad moment for me. I don't know. I'm probably very far from play if he scores on me." God, I love Kucci!
