Sure, he's a hypocrite. But I think most people overestimate what our presidents do. All of them. They have scores of underlings that do the real work. A president is more of a facade. If our presidents truly ran our country we'd all be dead. I'd much rather that goofball play golf than make decisions about COVID, lol. Let the real team make choices. As for "tax payers money", it's not costing you next to anything. Everyone should stop using that line.

It absolutely costs tax money and resources every time he plays golf or his son takes a trip to go hunting an exotic deer. Someone has to pay for all the food, room, room service, SS salaries, police escorts, extra security. That poo adds up dude.

As I said a few posts back, if we could only figure out how to get Congress to go with Trump now, the country would be in better shape

It could not be captains choice tournament as they would all want to be captain, well, because they deserve it.

You are right, people supporting Trump.  He should be playing golf--living a good life---the US represents 30% of the COVID-19 cases in the world, and only 4% of the population, and he pats himself on the back---encourages people to live their lives again because he is willing to risk those lives to stimulate the economy to get him re-elected.  He WANTS to project a "return to normalcy".   And if he were not playing golf, he might be attacking 60% of the nation by endorsing "white power" videos and plastering pictures of people removing statues...Important stuff like that--requires technology.  He does not need to be in his office to publicly sanction Russia for putting out bounties on US Soldiers--he can ignore that, and focus his attention on white morons with Trump shirts on Golf carts shouting "White Power."

I could Google it. But has anyone ever done the stats to see how much it costs each person individually? 328.2 million in the US. I'd hope they all pay taxes. SO ... break it down. How much does all that stuff cost ... me. I'm not arguing that stuff doesn't get paid by us, I'm saying it's miniscule. Sort of like when someone gets mad at a cop: I PAY YOUR SALARY!

Meanwhile, in actual coronavirus news, California reinstitutes stay at home order after rise in new cases.

I don't agree with this. IMO, this is not the right approach given what we now know about this virus. Masks and social distancing is the right way to go.

It sounded like that one county was too far gone. They needed to shut it down.

Meanwhile, mask usage in Charlotte is way up. Thanks Gov Cooper!

    • The lack of discipline has seriously been our downfall the last month. Seems like we just went off course this last month and Lee won't address it. You can't just live and die by the 3 when you can attack the paint and at worst draw a foul
    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
