Might want to listen to his North Charleston speech. If he didn't specifically mean that, he certainly implied it - which is a trick he used a lot. He implies a lot of idiotic things to appeal to his idiotic base and then denies them because he only implied them.

I would never ever defend the teenager in charge of our country, but I also won't fall for all the stuff going around.  I agree it is hard to keep up with what is correct and not and totally believable that he'd say this kind of stuff.  As a Pub governor put it, he is a heckler

So you haven't seen or heard that speech? You just decided that I had only heard that he'd said that and then parroted it?

This actually explains a lot.

In the age of COVID, we all have the potential to unknowingly become an uncontrolled biological weapon set loose on general society.

Let's try and behave like responsible members of society, good citizens:  Frequently wash your hands, social distance whenever possible and wear a mask for the benefit of others.

Why is any of this even debatable at this point?

Part of the explanation must be that the International media has done a bad job describing Swedens approach and how the pandemic has developed over time here.

People don't understand that life here is not as normal and that we actually have taken some measures that seems to have been effective.

Saw a CBS News thread on Facebook today. And the amount of people defending Sweden and trying to "correct" the article, while of course, add incorrect facts, was mind blowing to see.

Imagine how heart warming it was for a leftist leaning liberal as myself to see a few hundred American right wingers campaigning for Sweden. Hahaha...

The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) is a conservative non-profit association founded in 1943. The group was reported to have about 5,000 members in 2014. The association has promoted a range of scientifically discredited hypotheses, including the belief that HIV does not cause AIDS, that being gay reduces life expectancy, that there is a link between abortion and breast cancer, and that there is a causal relationship between vaccines and autism. It is opposed to the Affordable Care Act and other forms of universal health insurance.

Total garbage. Moronic. Do better research.

So with everybody pushing this mask thing, how many restaurants are going to go bankrupt?  It's impossible to eat out with wearing a mask and social distancing in a smaller sized restaurant would be very difficult.  It's such a culture shock to a lot of people here in America.  Where do you take a date?  This thing could go on for another year before a vaccine is available.

The country I'm in they space the tables out and everyone wears a mask up until the point that they are at their own table with their food. The really, really small hole-in-the-wall restaurants have stayed take-out only. I don't see anything going bankrupt and the amount of cases we have are minimal, so it seems to be working reasonably well.

To your couch with Netflix and a bottle of liquor like anyone else that gets laid.

Holy poo, remember that barista who got $100k+ in tips after some Karen posted something on FB hating on him because he did his job and told her that a mask was required?

Well, that Karen is now the early leader in the clubhouse for Karen of the Year. She's suing the barista claiming she's entitled to half of those tips.

It is times like these, when every member of a society needs to do their part for the greater good, that narcissists like Amber Lynn Gilles get totally exposed.

Wearing or not wearing mask will not impact restaurants going bankrupt.  I went to a restaurant last week.  Wore my mask inside and got to the table, then was allowed to take it off.

The Social distancing thing is more problematic for them, but to be honest, so few people are going out right now, that I am not sure it matters.

    • You may be interested to know that the average depth of separation is dependent upon the type of route run. Though go-routes are the most type of route run, they also produce the least amount of separation (and, of course, completions).   "The average pass catcher runs a go route on nearly a quarter of all routes (22.3%), the highest percentage of any route type in our data. However, those routes are targeted roughly 1 out of 10 times (10.8 percent), the lowest target rate of any route. The WR screen is the least-run route (3.4%), and it's the only route where the average target is behind the line of scrimmage. But it's also targeted at the highest rate (40.7%) and early in the play (1.6 seconds average time to throw). The most targeted routes outside of the WR Screen? The out (27.8%) and slant (25.2%) routes are the next most popular across the league."     "The most valuable routes by expected points added per target were the post (+0.48) and corner (+0.43) routes. The go route (+0.19) ranked seventh on the list of 10 route types. The go route (+0.19) ranked seventh on the list of 10 route types. One possible reason for this: It's harder to separate on go routes, which put the player on a straight path, than on posts or corners, which ask the player to make a cut. Targeted pass catchers on posts and corners average 2.4 yards and 2.3 yards of separation from the nearest defender, respectively, while pass catchers targeted on go routes average just 1.8 yards of separation."   https://www.nfl.com/news/next-gen-stats-intro-to-new-route-recognition-model#:~:text=Targeted pass catchers on posts,) and slant (+0.26).   I would expect that Thielen would have an easier time catching the ball based that he runs the routes where it's easier to get open. Tet? Yet to be seen, but we may be better served getting him on some slants and crossers also.  In general, receivers are going to average a lower completion percentage and yards of separation on certain types of routes than others, that's why we shouldn't necessarily be taking stats, even advanced ones, at face value, as there are dynamics that most aren't even thinking about.  In terms of Tet, he's bigger and somewhat slower than a smaller dude, so you'd expect him not to have as much separation on go-routes, but his catch radius is massive and his hands are awesome. Hitting him in stride will probably be killer, but of course QBs are less accurate on go-routes according to the stats. Depending upon Tet's route versatility and how he is used, we could have a unicorn though. He's relatively fast, has great hands and gets YAC (and on an off note, if X can hold on to the ball, he's dangerous as well because he already has shown some separation ability).
