Well if I could focus on the positives. It could be worse then Bridgewater, CMC, Moore, Samuel, and Thomas.  We'll hopefully have better protection with Okung? GVR, (Paradis hopefully improves), Moton, Little/Daley.

Defensively, obviously it'll be tough. We virtually have zero secondary. Maybe Jackson can step up in his 3rd year. We do have KK, Shaq, Burns. I did like what I saw out of Haynes and Christian Miller last year. No doubt defensively were going to be awful. We really need to devote probably the top 3 picks there or at least 2 out of the 3.

we got 10x richer, white bob johnson owning the team now...only prob is, this isnt a startup franchise, the selfish asshole bought an already existing team that the community has ties with and love for, and wants to tear them down to the charlotte bobcats of football so he can have "his" team built. typical northern transplant, delusions of self grandeur, tiny dlck ego move.

some people are happy cam is gone and are spewing shlt...they can suck a fat one too...especially the shlt talking regs.

fug your love, fug your years of fan loyalty, fug your money invested in merch, tickets, etc, fug all the arguments youve endured taking up for this franchise over the past 25 years....just fug you all right in your pleb, "you'll take what youre given and like it, or fug off" asses.

im sure that new uniform design is coming soon, with our brand new logo of teps fat fuggin greasy pale face plastered to the side of our new black helmets we all been longing for....tiny hands ass grabbin dickhead.

yeah...im butthurt. fug tep, and fug his whole bitch boy entourage of "yes" men.

What does being white have anything to do with anything?

Have you seen this team the last couple years? It’s been a dumpster fire with the exception of a few good players. Half the fan base wanted the coach gone. Almost everyone applauded when JR gave up the team and Tepper bought it.

Tepper didn’t waltz right in and try to change everything- he gave the existing team and coaches a chance to show that they have what it takes to be competitive. Cam showed nothing. The backup qbs showed flashes but nothing to be excited about. The defense sucked. The offense, outside of a few good players, sucked.

it is absolutely time for a major change. Put your big girl panties on and go back on your main account and just give this time as all the changes take place.

7-9 to 5-11...that’s not trending up and if I were owner I would blow that up too for something different. If this were 2018 this would be a different story but we are 5 years removed from the SB and 3 from the playoffs.

Emotions are still running high and I get it.

I've seen a lot of people talk about David Tepper, Matt Rhule, even Marty Hurney.

I haven't seen much talk about someone else who, in all likelihood, played a role in today's events.

Who is Teddy Bridgewater's connection to the Panthers? And who may very well have been lobbying for the team to bring him aboard?

Is it not possible, perhaps even likely, that our new young OC had a hand in this?

Fires Ron Rivera and does a full-court media blitz with a self imposed interview sit down on Panthers.com discussing why, etc.

He and his puppets (Hurney, Rhule) lie all offseason about their intentions with Cam until the ultimate ending that happened today.

Now he is hiding behind Hurney and not facing the music.

Coward, IMO. Going to be a rough era under his ownership.

If that’s true then Joe Brady is a candyass. Only a candyass would want to start Teddy Bridgewater over Cam Newton.

I’m a huge cam supporter. But I’m a Panther fan first. I am a little surprised and a lot disappointed that he won’t be a part of the plan going forward.

But I see this for what it is- it’s a business decision- and clearly not an easy one for anyone to make- but it had to be made- one way or the other. The thing about business decisions is that you can’t be emotional about them. You can’t always be public about the things and conversations going on behind the scenes.

Here’s what I know- right now Cam is still on the team- he’s clearly on the table for trade, may even be cut if no offers come. He might also remain a panther - maybe we will cut Grier or Allen instead and let Cam heal a bit longer while Bridgewater gives us some better QB play than we got last year.

Whatever happens, you can either choose to be ok with it, choose to be emotional about it. Many here are choosing the emotional route.

Don’t do that. Don’t give me hope.  Cam ain’t sitting behind Bridgewater while his inferior replacement  makes 60 million over 3 years.

I bet Tepper watches ESPN like Trump watches Fox News. This reeks of media driven bias and weak ass decision making. I bet you Tepper didn’t watch a game of Cam Newton before 2017.  Only in this timeline of the universe do I get to experience the sheer idiocy of this franchise. There’s no justification to any of this.
