This year's draft could get really interesting

Y'all are all hype about Rhule taking over the reigns of drafting. Don't be surprised when we trade back up into the first round for James Lynch and take all Baylor players the rest of the draft....

this is my nightmare

I see why front offices are pushing back but I also see and agree why the NFL says no.   IMO everyone has the same amount of time and the same limitations (other than the good or bad judgement that existed already) No one team has a clear advantage over the other regarding this.  That said, keep the draft schedule as is and don’t postpone.  Earlier mention about stringing it out over the week is a good idea that I would be on board with but giving them a month extra or something like that should not be considered.  Just my opinion...

I would personally find it pretty awesome to have the showcase of it all eliminated and for the cameras to highlight the war rooms and actual profiles on the players getting chosen.

It would be the best of all time to hear the discussions between Hurney, Rhule, and Tepper in the war room on how they go about who to pick.  I know we would never get that but it would be awesome.

Because no matter who they pick we are going to get the usual” BPA” or Hurney’s favorite “Can’t believe he was still on the board”.

It looks like Hurney's draft board will mirror the cover of the1st NFL draft guide that comes out pre-combine. I had one magazine that listed both Everette Brown (top 10) and RT/G Duke Robinson in the 1st round and we drafted both. EB in the 2nd and DR in the 5th! You know Marty was hi-fiving "ALL THE STEALS"while stroking his outdated magazine at other GMs.

Hurney did once say in a radio interview that he does read draft guides.
