He looks like a great pickup. I assume he will play on the strong side here? If so he might take a year at least to bulk up and transition. DEs usually take a year or two when they are not Peppers freakish. Maybe rotate with Burns on the weakside for a year. Big upside. I really like the pick.

Legitimately a much better draft so far that I expected.

Nobody's mentioned it, to my knowledge, but there's another major upside to the Brown/YGM combo we just put together -- both are experienced multi-positional DLmen.

I envision some creative stunts and games from these two, which will further confuse the blocking plans of those OLs we'll be beating up on.  And the quickness and explosiveness of Burns will play along with those stunts, too.

Coming out of College this season definitely gives Rhule somewhat of an advantage in this years draft. He's has coached against and has probably tried to recruit a lot of the top players in the NCAA. I want nothing more than to eat crow on this down the line, but I have a feeling this is Hurney's worst 1st and 2nd rounds combined ever.
