I would considered it a Last resort for cam, better options maybe available than linking back up with Ron, sounds like Ron maybe open to a reunion, might go into camp seeing what Haskins or Kyle has first

I dont think its as much Cam cared more about fashion. But he didnt evolve his game into more of a passer. And a lot of guys posting in this thread support his "power game". Which ultimately was his undoing. Even now hes posting pics on SM showing how fit he is but you never see him working with any of the paasing gurus out there. Its as much fault of Cam as it is Rons.

Rivera knows he needs young legs at QB because he will give them a poo line to play behind while adding more defensive players. I would not be surprised this year if Joe Bradys offense doesn't rip apart his team year one.

Still boohooing over Cam being gone.  I feel sorry for some of you.  Cam knew what he signed on for and he seemed just fine with all of it.  Blaming only Rivera for Cams shortcomings and lack of a Super Bowl trophy is just dumb. There are way more reasons than just Rivera. Cam played a part in all of it too.  Can we just stop with this BS now ?

I always wanted to see cam in a play action scheme where he would be able to roll out, assess the field, and take off if need-be. Other than one year of chud, he had some of the worst all-time play calling.

The designed QB runs were terrible and really just amounted to giving Tolbert or Stewart a breather while we ran the exact same play with the QB. Shula should have been taken out back and shot.

Also, you guys remember when we tried to protect our franchise QB w Byron Bell and Nate Chandler? That was bad.

For me, Cam is kind of like Steve Smith. Can you imagine how good they would have been with a competent coach, a better scheme, or better surrounding cast?

Theirs no way in hell Snyder would have let Ron trade for Cam, they just drafted Haskins. Snyder forced his front office to draft Haskins. And they are still paying Alex Smith 

 

Also why in gods name would Cam want to play under Ron on a rebuilding team? He already wasted a chunk of his career with him, I’m pretty Cam and his agent put it out there he doesn’t want to play for certain teams.
