32. Carolina Panthers

New head coach Matt Rhule certainly has his work cut out for him. While Carolina still fields young talent in the front seven with Burns and Thompson, its secondary may be the weakest in the league. Burris and Chinn will compete opposite Boston at safety, while Elder and Pride are likely to battle for a starting cornerback spot across Jackson. Not exactly an ideal list of players to match up against NFC South quarterbacks. The Panthers require instant impact from rookies Brown and Gross-Matos to compensate for their pass defense.

If Elder makes this team, we will absolutely be ranked dead last.

If he is a starter I will agree, but he will make the team.  The rest of the CBs on the roster are PS guys

Who is the leader on the defense?

You’d think that it would be SHORT, but nope. He’s just a fat overpaid guy who is underperforming while fans are still living off his one great season in 2015. The leader will be Shaq, Tre or Whitehead.

Aside from the Redskins, I don’t think Mr. Toast, I mean Elder makes another practice squad in the league if we cut him today.

Until we prove otherwise... I can't argue with this. Based purely on last year, this is the result you get when tallying it up. When figuring in this offseason, you still end up with more question marks than exclamation marks.

We'll be better than advertised, but how much better is an unanswerable question. On paper... well, we're just back to a bunch of question marks.

    • You honestly think Tampa would have traded down with a division rival so their rival could land a “generational player” at a massive position of need for TB?   bruh
    • Ya'll better quit throwing shots at Zod. He'll come in here and ban everybody. I had a friend @prosource who was banned in 2015 because he said some very minor things about Zod being an ass to the posters on the main forum after starting the All-Pro one. He said he felt like another level is cool, but don't punch down on people that don't want All-Pro. (He did say that it wasn't going to last long anyways.🤔) I distinctly remember him calling and being like "dude, I got banned, my profile says I don't have access to the Huddle!") I feel like once Tepper came in and cut off all unofficial access to the team, Zod was going to be around less. The All-Pro board had really good photos, even in game stuff, and I remember seeing him behind a little fenced in area at Wofford for non team sanctioned press/photographers after Tepper bought the team. I knew then his ego wouldn't allow him to continue with past fervency and effort with that reduction in access. Dude was literally in the locker room when JR was owner.  I came over in 2011 immediately after finding out this place existed. I was super involved with the Charlotte forum, and fell off after its demise. I will never forget arguing Pep over Ryan Sims on that forum! Who is Ryan Sims some of you may ask? My answer is exactly!
    • And not see him running free. Because has been free a lot more than he gets credit for.    Now what XL does with that when he does see the ball, is on him.
