Don't expect Charlotte Pipe to move in 2023.  They have been talking about it since 2005 and have not even starting working on the new facility that will take at least 5 years to build (probably longer).

Different this time, economic incentives have been approved and a CPF rep stated work could begin this year and move in 2023.

Edit: But yeah, 2025 for new stadium is laughable

If we’re getting a shinny new dome. This is the PERFECT location for it.

and what purpose does this response serve?

Once the Rock Hill facilities are open it wouldn't matter if the stadium was in Salisbury.  The question was where is that land in relation to BOA.  By indicating it wasn't walking distance from the practice facilities gave a sense of direction and distance.

Just having some fun, I do apologize.

CP has always stated that they could have a new facility built in 2 years.  There is just no way.  They want the place bigger that then current facility and all new equipment in there and ready to move in in 2 years.  There is just no way.  Right now the new equipment they want they could not even get some of it in the country with everything locked down and who knows when that will end.

Then,  after they move, Tepper will have to clear out all the old buildings and clear somewhere between 1 and 3 feet of contiminated topsoil and that is before they even break ground on a new stadium.  If it happens by the end of the decade I will be surprised.

I hope our new stadium isn't a dome.   I could handle a retractable roof if it came down to that.   I can get going that route from the stand point of an owner wanting to maximize the facility.
