The least restful rest room in history. Wow. Can't decide whether to sh!t or go blind? Go there, do both at the same time.

Yea...that bathroom is awful.  In fact...the entire decor does not live up to 2.9 mil IMHO.

US housing market is retarded. 2.9 million for that trash place? GTFO

The asking price isn't so much symptomatic of the US housing market (as evidenced by the fact it's been listed for a while and hasn't sold, anything in CLT even remotely realistically priced sells pronto)...

...rather, it illustrates delusional expectations of the person who listed it.

Seems to be a trend...

Nope. A 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath, 3300 sq ft condo on Tryon will cost you an arm and a leg. The price is reasonable.

The three-bedroom, 3.5 bathroom unit offers 3,335 square feet of luxury living space. It takes up half the fifth floor of a building known as The Trust—a location that the listing details call "the most exclusive address in Uptown Charlotte."

There are seven units in the building, and Newton snapped up his condo through an LLC in April 2012, for $1.6 million. Another tenant in the building, NBA legend Michael Jordan, occupies the entire seventh floor, according to the Charlotte Observer.

I might buy it my girlfriend needs a place to stay when her husband is out of town

I missed this the first time.  But it reminds me of that movie "The Loft."

Description from interwebz: "Five married guys secretly share a penthouse loft in the city where they can carry out hidden affairs. But the fantasy becomes a nightmare, when (spoiler)

they discover the dead body of a woman in the loft one of the group must be involved.
