He kept Marty Hurney. He paid out the ass for a college head coach with almost no NFL experience who hired a staff with almost no NFL experience.

I mean, you need more red flags?

Chase Blackburn - 5 years coaching in the NFL after playing in the NFL for 10 years

Joe Brady - 2 years as NFL coaching assistant

Phil Snow - 4 years as NFL position coach

Brian Angelichio - 8 years as NFL position coach

Al Holcomb - 11 years of NFL experience as position coach and coordinator

Fris Jackson - 1 year of NFL position coaching experience, 4 years playing experience

Pat Meyer - 7 years of NFL position coach experience

Jeff Nixon - 10 years of NFL position coach and special teams coach experience

Frank Okam - 7 years of NFL playing experience

Jake Peetz - 10 years of NFL coaching experience

Mike Phair - 9 years of NFL coaching experience

Jason Simmons - 9 years of NFL coaching experience

He has done some things I like. Took a chance on Reid, didn’t overpay vets to stay, gave Rhule a longer contract to help build a team, moved the teams practice from that terrible field, seems to be very visible and available to the players, moved on from Ron who was keeping us in mediocracy, wants to use more analytics in coaching/recruiting, is willing to spend money on facilities and staff. He really hasn’t done too much to make me not like him?

So a man with different opinions than yours, is a red flag.

Good to know.

He know more than you ever will. Funny how you judge a owner when his first coaching hire hasn’t coached 1 season or game yet.

True......COVID-19 has people like WUUTTTTT!!!!!!  People losing their minds out here lol

The only ‘red flag’ you can point to is that he got rid of your favorite player. Thats not a red flag.

Tepper is here for the next 20+ years. If you think he’s that bad, move on.

So if you weren't a fan or happy with the current ownership/regime you'd jump ship and find a new team? Doesn't sound like a true fan to me.

You dont have to blindly follow a team and act like a Franchise cant make a wrong decision. You dont have to talk yourself into thinking that every decision they make is a good one. Doesn't make you any less of a fan to use your brain and your own judgements. Blindly following a team like you suggest is just a sheep mentality but hey to each their own.

Thus far, Tepper has been a terrible owner in my opinion. He retained Marty Hurney as GM after cleaning house (terrible decision) didnt even bother to look for a replacement like he said he was going to. Fired Rivera midseason. Hired a HC with Zero NFL experience. Gave up on the franchise QB WAY to soon only to replace him with garbage. And he's meddlesome in football operations with zero football background. Red flag after red flag. He has no clue what hes doing.

After all of that am I still a fan of this team? Of course I am. I just cant wait until most of the core coaches/players are replaced/fired. Because this group is not winning a Championship anytime soon especially under Teppers "Guidance"

I think he is smarter than everyone here.

  Spoiler Alert!

Except me

At managing Hedge Funds.

I can probably think of a few huddlers I'd rather have run the team and I'm sure they'd make better decisions than he does but that's just me
