he was only the greatest QB in franchise history. He was the only MVP in team history. He led this franchise to a 15-1 season. He is the most iconic player in franchise history. He put this team in the national spotlight like no other player has done before in franchise history. 
 

all of that and he was sent away with nothing more than a single tweet, while rivera got a press conference after being fired and a press release from Tepper. And if that wasn’t bad enough, Tepper then spit in all our faces again yesterday by saying he couldn’t afford cam due to COVID. Him and teddy would be making practically the same amount of money.

 

but yes it is stupid if someone is now a patriots fan because of this.

When a cut player moves to a different team I'll generally say something generic like "good luck except against us".  Same with free agents. I'm not the type to root for guys who leave via free agency to fail.

I don't honestly care that much either way.

I get what you are saying. But the Cam threads and talk dominated this place this offseason and it was time to move on and talk about Panthers football. If anyone wants to talk Cam there is the NFL forum here. This is a Panthers board and during the season should be only Panthers related news.

So we can't make Cam threads in the main forum but we can talk about Madden and other FORMER Panthers players that are also currently not on the team? That makes a TON of sense.

He probably will for a while. If history repeats itself again, though, his shoulder won't hold up an entire season. Time will tell. 

If he plays well for the entire year then yes, Tepper will have egg on his face.

as far as topic this was a no brainer - Pats didn’t bring in a player like cam to sit on the bench. Who thought otherwise?

I wish him luck, just wish it wa with a different team but whatever. Personally, I think he’ll be well worth what they’re paying him (nothing). Wish he was open to playing on that contract here. But whatever. Belicheck will use him much better than Rivera ever could imagine, going to be fun to watch.

Can you hope Cam does well? Yes.  That is fine.  Cam is my favorite Panther of all time.  Well, tied w/ Luke. 

Hypothetically, if NE were 15-0 and playing the Panthers the last game of the season.....who would you want to win? The answer should be the Panthers.

Very true, really hoping the shoulder holds up...appears he has worked hard to return to old Cam.
