I was actually somewhat impressed with the play of the offense today. The team showed heart and  never gave up...even when down by two scores. If not for that terrible 4th and 1 call at the end of the game the Panthers could have won this game.

As for the defense, thats a whole different matter. I've got a bad feeling we are gonna score a bunch of points each week and still end up on the losing end most of the time because it doesn't appear we'll be able to stop anyone this year 

I just hope the coaches can turn things around in he next year or two while CMac is still in his prime.

Exactly what I’m getting at.  Thanks for eloquently elaborating on my post made out of frustration after they didn’t give him the ball on 4th down.

I pretty much agree, but there’s no way CMC doesn’t leave here without celebration. There will be tears like when Delhomme left.
