Would you trade Curtis Samuel to the 49ers for a DE?

that dude was so fuging stupid and people on here would fall over themselves because he would spend pages saying "actually the player that looks bad is good"

I just remember his essays where a third of the words was "Curtis Samuel".

And him showing a single instance of something as proof the player excels at something.

I thought he played good for only having a few days of practice. He looks promising.

Definitely agree and think we’re not talking enough about Douglas stepping in on a limited amount of practice and making some plays. Might have had an INT if Whitehead didn’t get a PI penalty.

Just shows how devoid of talent this roster is. Guy off the street looks better than the guys they had on the roster.

No joke. Even DJ had some uncharacteristic drops today.

This is his 4th year as a WR and even he doesn’t trust his own hands. He nullifies his speed by leaving his feet on damn near every pass thrown his way. 5 catches with a 7.6 YD avg PC is awful, especially a guy with world class speed.

Please, let us all overreact after the first game with a new regime, half of the roster being new, most of the defense rookies or 2nd year guys, no preseason and barely an off-season. That would be smart management. Im not expecting big things from us this season anyways so just ride it out and make roster adjustments in the offseason

    • This guy pre-draft was saying he could take or leave football, and he seems to have been playing with that mentality ever since lol.
    • Agreed, another safety would be nice. Bud Clark, TCU, is one I would like to see us take a flyer on later in the draft, if he stays healthy and we don't take someone earlier. I just really hope we draft a solid C this year. Tired of seeing us cycle through average to below average players in that area.
    • Bryce doesn't like throwing into the middle of the field unless the play broke down or it's set up to give him a passing lane.  So because of this issue, most of the passing offense has to be outside the numbers towards the boundary. So you see him throw a lot of dump offs, swing routes, short side out routes, comebacks or deep balls outside the numbers using the boundary as protection of an interception.    Pretty easy for a NFL defense to see this and scheme against it.  All you have to do is run a shell cover 2 deep dime, LB plays a hook underneath, take the flat away with a blitz/flat zone option for the two inside DB's, outside two DB's play hook zone underneath and carry anything deep.    Pretty much what NO ran to take away Rico while also limiting What Bryce can do as well.
