Robby burned his CB on the play with said double move and the safety made a HORRIBLE play on the ball. A busted coverage.

Not sure where you’re going with the rest. It’s well documented in his tenure with NO his deep ball accuracy and placement is his weakest area, he’s passable just about everywhere else.

Yea that Anderson TD was underthrown. He was running free, if not for the busted coverage the DB would have broken that up easily. The safety still almost made a play on it.

Uhh what? It was cover 2, that was a perfectly thrown ball and the play on the ball by RA was exactly what he needed to do... busted coverage? The db got left in the dust.... everyone was where they were supposed to be.... on that defense.

Lolwat

#25 either rips Roby’s  head of, get called for PI or gets a pick. He was simply Nakamura bad and in horrendous position.

Watch it again.

Was a good throw but an ideal throw into that window would have been 3-5 yards shallower and more to the outside to hit Anderson (or any receiver running that route vs the Cover 2) in stride. The safety definitely blew the tackle a la Marcus Williams. Worked out OK overall though.

He was in center field, this was a good throw. RA cuts in front the safety because he is in full sprint to get to the sideline. It was savvy move by RA to cut across the safety like that as well

Mav, do you think 270 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions is mediocre? I’d like to know your opinion on his performance.

His stats weren't great but he moved the offense.  I'd say it was a good enough game to put us in position to win, but with room for improvement.  Not the best start to a season for our offense, but far room the worst.  In the long list of stats by a Panthers QB it is mediocre, but that ignores the context that I think matters in the season & game.
