It’s just hard to grade a guy like Lance due to competition. And the two biggest prospect recently to come out of that same competition area are Wentz and Allen and one has regressed in major ways and the other is finally starting to show signs of doing something big. Neither have been consistent. Will he have a season this year?

I think with small school prospect all we as fans can do is judge arm talent, accuracy and decision making. Everything else like intangibles and what goes on in their head is up to the scouts.

Wentz and Allen both showed big time arms and with the case of Wentz good accuracy (which ironically is his biggest problem now. Maybe it was all deep accuracy before?). Wentz also got good marks on his personality and leadership which helped him become #2.

I haven't watched a drop of Lance so fug if I know.

Fields is better than Lawrence I’m fine with fields learning under teddy

I like Fields as a passer and really like the leadership and accuracy.  I personally think his overall athletic ability is overblown.  Good athlete but not great.  Good arm but not great.

Lance probably has more arm but Fields looks way more polished.

I love Fields.  Feel very good about the kid coming out.  Honestly, love the ceiling of the top-3 so am not pining for any particular one.

I believe that Fields would fit this type of offense better than Lawrence. Lawrence just has better overall talent and a higher ceiling, but would need to adjust to the style that the Panthers play. Would still prefer Lawrence if given the chance.

that being said I’m on board with fields if we get the opportunity. And obviously Lawrence if we get extremely lucky.
