They should've fired him BEFORE he tanked their franchise, not after. I mean, everyone who knew anything about football saw the disastrous moves he was making as soon as he got the GM label. Reminiscent of Chip Kelly when he got full roster control.

I couldn't believe when they gave him full power. Now he's fired four games into the season.

That seems to happen a lot. Kelly is a good example.  Years back, in DC, the report was the GM Marty Schottenheimer got Coach Marty Schottenheimer fired.

It is too much responsibility, and control, for one person.

As soon as he pitched the idea of trading arguably the best WR in football for a 28 year old RB four years removed from a 1000 yard season and a mid-round pick they should've told him to

I think a lot of guys get a wild hair up their ass to do something crazy that'll make them look like a genius if it works. As often as not, at backfires.

Better off to just stick to moves that actually make sense.

I think the Dolphins will be fine. It remains to be seen if Flores is a good coach or not.

But he's building well. Didn't panic and trade up for Tua. Isn't starting him. Building and drafting well.

If Flores can coach they're golden.
