as for being guaranteed the #1 pick come on.  Washington, the Jaguars, Lions, and several other teams are all working just as hard to lose games, and they all clearly want Trevor Lawrence.

So let’s say hypothetically, the Jets are all in on Sam Darnold and under no circumstances will take Lawrence.

They can trade the pick for CMC, a RB that is on a large contract, or they can trade it for 3 1sts and a couple 2nds. Choosing the RB in that scenario is malpractice.

Honestly I'd trade CMC for Trevor Lawrence but it won't happen. Bell is irrelevant to this though don't need em.
