It was a hellava try.  Slye had the damn thing nearly straight down the middle.  Absolutely  an amazing shot.   

Can't blame him for the attempt.  At least it wasn't a dying duck that landed 15 yards short.

Slye is good too.  I like you, would have rather kept Butker over Gano but we got lucky getting Slye.   I also agree that Hurney and Ron screwed that one up.  But, not surprised either with the "Veteran" over talent mentality.

Slye was 17-19 before that 65yd attempt. If that had been a 64yd attempt, he'd be at 90% for the year. He's still 85% for the year. He definitely does not suck.

Slye has been absolutely fine this season.  Butker is great, but if I remember correctly his rookie contract would be coming up meaning hell prlly ask for a big payday (atleast big by kicker standards) while we still get to pay slye peanuts, so yea for the 2-3% accuracy increase I'd rather stick with what were paying slye and use that money elsewhere.  It's why gano was never worth it.
