Okung, Kerr missed practice

Trai Turner was never good.  Period.  We won't miss him regardless of what happens with Okung, but when Okung is healthy, we got the far better end of that deal.

It's prolly better for the Chargers that Trai hasn't been playing anyway if they want to keep Herbert healthy.

Turner was great at one point. I don't think that can even be argued. You don't make 5 pro bowls if you were never good.

Disagree. There was a time when Turner was one of the best young guards in the league.

That time, unfortunately, has passed.

I really think he was living off an unearned reputation, and pro bowls are more a popularity contest than a testament to what is actually done on the field.

I watched him closely, probably more than I should have from play to play, and far too often he displayed minimal effort in protecting Cam...  and it never sat well with me the amount of times his assignment got a late hit or cheapshotted Cam and then I'd watch Trai turn around and walk-off instead of defending his QB.  Superbowl 50 and the 2016 opener were more than sufficient examples.

not too worried about Little against the Falcons pass rush, but Kerr will be a blow.  I think we'll see a lot of Obada, and I'm a little concerned about their Oline with Gurley.

Gurley's a bouncer. He presses the hole and looks to bounce outside. It's more on our DEs and OLBs to maintain outside contain and not get cutoff by the cut blocks.

Hold up... CMC is OFF the injury report :Eyes_Emoji_42x42::Eyes_Emoji_42x42::Eyes_Emoji_42x42:

Or is this because hes just been designated to return and isn't actually back on the roster.

And just to pile on, once Turner got paid and Kalil rapidly declined from injuries he was never the same. Okung has been nothing short of solid since he got here and that's without the unknown factor of his leadership and assistance in developing Little and Daley.

I think that deal is convincingly in our favor as far as "Who Won?"

He wasn't on the injury report. He was on the IR list

Turner has barely played this year too, and when he did play he didn't look that great. That trade may not be a huge "win" if Okung can't stay healthy and we move on from him after the season, but I don't think it can be considered a "loss." And when Okung has been on the field he's been easily our best LT since Oher, not that that's saying much...

He is miles better than Oher.
