Folks...

I've been patient...but after seeing what this staff was able to do with this talent against the champs, I'm ready to say this:

Go out and get your mother f'ing QB.

So many bitch about the OL situation but honestly, we're better than the Byron, Nate Chandler, Todd Steussie days.

Now, I'm not saying ignore it, but I am now convinced we need to trade up if we don't wind up top-5.  6-13, we trade up to #3 to ensure Fields or Wilson.  That's it.  It won't take a Goff deal, it may be pricey, but it won't cramp our rebuild.  Rhule has showed us we don't need a full rebuild.  I love this guy.  No joke, I like Teddy.  We got him as the 23rd paid QB right now, nothing extravagant.  Let's just do with it  what is.

Trade up and get your guy.

I'm beginning to wonder how many fans will stick with Tepper & his Panthers.

The combination of Tepper keeping TB5 for the long-haul after unceremoniously jettisoning Newton will surely be more than many can bear?

2-3 years isn’t the long haul.

That's something because you are saying a DT turned offensive tackle is better than what he have and they were turrible

Our current line is terrible.

We've really only got one legit starter. Across the middle, Chris Reed, John Miller and an overpaid Matt Paradis are as sh-tty a combination as I've seen in years.

If Okung and/or Daley could be counted on to stay healthy, you might at least have something. Unfortunately, they can't. And the only guy we've got that's worth a damn isn't even under contract next year.

If you're going to invest in getting a franchise quarterback but then stick him behind this bunch, you're wasting your time.

Teddy's only 27...just entering an 8-year window of his most productive years.  He and Rhule are in this together for the title run.

He signed a three year deal. He’s more likely to not be here three years from now than be here in eight.

    • I member him staying after practices with only to see he was wearing heavy weight vest, one of his trademarks. He also put in 10 years, right? People forget he was the ST stud that called the snap and made sure everyone lined up right. He was one of the "glue" guys that bought his "lunch pail" to work.... He was a willing solider, all teams need a couple of them. He blocked for sooo many panthers RBs- Davis, lane, Williams, foster, goings and when there was huge injuries he took over the starter duties and had a couple 100 yard games. If you followed hoover, he took the perfect RB path cause he was just a slow heavy one himself....
    • Walker likely depends on a couple of things. What exactly did Dan promise him, to start with.  How much other interest he actually had for a starter job at high pay is another question. It isn’t outside the realm of possibility that he could stay on as a swing tackle waiting to take Moton’s spot when it opens.    I can’t get myself to consider Icky as a viable anything until we see him back on the field.     Hunt seems to be a team player and good guy but I don’t think he is worth what he is being paid. I have him tentatively earmarked for cap causality in the near future.
    • Definitely epic tv..... A man who wont cheat for a poke dont want one bad enough.
