What are you blabbering on about? I don't care if you "back down" or not. Anyone who mistreats or harms kids or dogs is trash to me, period. You can agree or disagree m I don't care.

yeah but your stance isn't the issue.  you're reframing the situation and changing it into 'you're either with me or against me and i don't care which' because you're in your feelings.  the situation is.  it isn't hypothetical.  it isn't a stance. its not feelings.  its actual.   he isn't dead and you're not killing him.  so your stance is 100% irrelevant.  it doesn't matter at all.  it has no value in this situation.  that's the point

What are you blabbering on about? It was over. Everyone else involved moved on.

Peppers leaving was way worse than Smith.

Smith got cut out of fuging nowhere because gettleman thought he was mean to Cam.

Peppers intentionally nuked his own trade value after turning down the largest defensive contract in nfl history because he had an under the table deal with the bears. He made sure the Panthers couldn't get anything for him by declaring there was only like 3 or 4 mystery teams he'd sign an extension with, and that he wouldn't play anything except a standup rush OLB.

Peppers came back and finished with the TEAM.

Smitty got cut out of nowhere for no reason? His history of assaulting teammates and being a diva had nothing to do with it? Smitty talked poo about the team, but praised the man (JR) that turned out to be a big ass racist and ass grabber. Either way Smitty DID NOT finish with the team...he did not come back for a 1 day contract and retire a panther.

I agree, what say you about a Luke statue?

Luke not only retired a panther but stayed with the team. He will get his in time. To me a statue for Luke is even a bit much, but over Greg Olsen, Cam, Smitty or any other player that was special for us but moved on...Luke deserves it more than any of them.

Not only for retiring here, but also for being a GOAT at the position. Cam? Noone will call him a GOAT in this generation. Olsen? Well there might be some argument for or against. Smitty? For OUR team he was a granddaddy goat but overall he was not all that. Luke however gets that status from every team and player. Even when it is not some fluff piece special about Luke, he gets the praise and admiration.

Who cares. Peppers played over a third of his career with other teams, and that's not including the 2007 season where he might as well have not been on the field. Smith played 13/16 with carolina, so a higher percentage of his career was spent in Carolina relative to Peppers. And Peppers CHOSE to leave. Smith was like "wtf"

Who cares if he was a diva, all NFL WRs are. If you're looking for one who isn't you end up with like Marvin Harrison, and then you gotta deal with him fuging pulling guns on people at car washes.

Smith being cut in 2014 had nothing to do with him breaking ken lucas' nose in 2008, shut the fug up.

Peppers praised JR too.

Jake Delhomme didn't finish with THE TEAM either. You have really dumb and random criteria for what's good or bad.

    • I don't necessarily think he will be moved, I would currently be leaning against that notion. I think a lot will depend on the coaching situation. Carroll certainly can't be thinking about wanting to go through a serious strip down and overhaul, so the longer he plans to remain, the less likely I think Crosby gets moved.
    • I think everyone says Mike Evans because of size, but really they have different strengths and play styles.  Tmac is better on intermediate routes and not nearly as good at contested catches.
    • At this point, it is criminal to go into the 2026 training camp/OTA's with XL penciled in as a #2 WR. The team must upgrade, either through free agency or the draft. If he cannot give 100% effort on significantly less snaps as a #4-6 WR(players like Tremayne have done that consistently) then I don't think you have a player worth rostering beyond the trade deadline. Offensively, we eventually have to upgrade to an NFL starting caliber C. It's been almost the length of time from Gross to Ikey since Kalil retired and we have below average to terrible C play. Love Mays as a BC-esque utility backup but he will never be an above average long term starting C.  The TE room is one of the worst in the NFL but it's a low usage position in this offense, so the investments are likely to be small, if any. I would never expect to see an elite TE in a Dave Canales offense. 100% agree on OL depth. We actually aren't bad there but BC will be gone, Mays is a UFA, Corbett is a UFA and Zavala has been both injured and bad. We have to bolster that depth again or resign guys like Mays and Corbett to keep that depth somewhat stable.
