I haven't watched much other than a few highlight reels of either guy, but I'm seeing more and more comments from people warming up to Wilson and souring on Lance.

Projecting two years out with so many unknowns and the likelihood of a better record in 2021 make this unlikely.  And we don't even know if he opts for the big leagues next year.  It's a stretch and a half.

Okung is already retired. He just still happens to play in a game occasionally.

I see zero chance of him being back with us next year. Nor would I want him..

Kid was a total asshole on QB1. Super talented but regularly complained about the talent around him including telling his backup QB that he sucked all the time.

This year's draft is 2021. The next draft is 2022... Rattler is eligible for '22, though I guess he could stay in school longer depending on how next season goes for him.

ffs.  Really?  This is the year for us to draft a QB - if our plan is to acquire a QB through the draft.

We will not pick this high again next year.  We just won't.  Too many people keep forgetting about that FIFTY ONE MILLION in dead cap we have this year.  Next year it's nine.  We're gaining FORTY TWO MILLION in cap for next year.  You can pick up quite a few NFL quality players with that.

Let's say we "only" get five NFL starters with that money.  This team, plus five quality starters, plus CMC, is NOT a top ten drafting team.  I'm not saying we're a playoff team next year, I'm saying that a couple of these close losses will be wins.  Even if it's only two, you're sitting at 6-6 right now.

Let's be realistic here.  If we want to draft a QB high, this is the year.  Even TB5's contract says this is the year.

Wilson - when I watch him play he reminds a bit of Joe Burrow, and Burrow looked as if he is going to do good things.
