Coaching from opening day to today

It's been about the same.

We don't have a ton of talent. The fact we are competing is a good sign. We've benched some guys that are underperforming and we've also been dealing without having CMC pretty much all season.

Can't do much when there's a significant talent gap. Hopefully that closes some more next year with experience and new FA's brought in.

Collegiate  schemes

poor offensive and defensive schemes

personnel decisions are concerning

things like using all 3 timeouts

things like running that third down play before the 2 min warning

we will know who they are come draft day

a blind man could see that Bridgewater is awful. Just awful

nfl seasons never end    It ain’t division one anymore

Coaching was fine we simply don’t have the talent to do what this coaching staff is asking them to do.  That goes for both sides of the ball.  Very excited about his coaching staff in the next couple of years

This is simply incorrect and states the coaches are at fault at the same time.

Right now that’s a huge stretch. Rhule is a good college rebuilder in bad divisions. It’s not looking like he’ll go anywhere in the NFL.

It's his first season. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt because I've liked certain things I've seen. Snow is a lost cause though.

I won't deny that we've got a talent gap.

That said, if we'd have faced Denver earlier in the year, I'd have felt better about our chances.

Not so sure about that.

Teddy's not the one to blame if the team looks undisciplined.

They are also a bunch of rookies with very little practice.  From what I watched it was the practice squad players just called up that made the worst mistakes.

Checked down Teddy is holding this team back more than anything.

Meh. Looks good enough to me. They showed what they could do earlier in the season. We needed to tank the rest of the season to get a better QB than that poo show at QB now.

Why stop there. Let's fill other holes and teddy will get us another top 10 next year.

I'm giving Rhule until the end of next season for sure, its only fair. But so far he hasn't shown any coaching improvements, he's just regressing. It's not really a good sign at this point sadly.

Said above, I get that there's a lack of talent in a lot of areas.

But things like discipline, game management and such are on the coaches. Early in the year we all marveled at the idea of coming to the end of games and halves with timeouts remaining. Over the last few weeks, that's become an issue.

Mind you, this isn't necessarily saying that Matt Rhule is bad, but right now he definitely looks like a rookie against veterans.

He has these scrubs playing with some fight, except Teddy of course.  That to me is all I expected him to accomplish this season.  They are fighting above their weight class and that's all you can ask from a bunch of rookies and outcasts, both the players and coaches.

This game came down to a special teams blunder, two rookie mistakes on defense and Teddy two gloves.

They could have overcome the first 3 but couldn't overcome Teddy.
