I'm past the point of being surprised watching this team make dumb decisions. It's the norm. Completely expected. Let's just hope Rhule is paying lip service here. It's not like he can openly admit to tanking even if we are.

To be fair, we're not officially eliminated yet (probably happens this weekend).

Doesn't sound like things are gonna change even after we are, though.

Hey, we still got Teddy and so far we’ve been moving in the right direction. Losing to Minnesota and Denver was what we needed. As has been mentioned, our last three are against good/playing well teams that need to win for the playoffs and seeding.

Lose out and I think we end up #4 overall. The Chargers and Cowboys play some fellow bad teams. The worst team we play is currently a division leader.

Agree. Based who we have left and others have left, #4 seems like where we end up. Just depends on what other teams decide to do rest wise.

I’m just glad (since we aren’t playoff bound) that the NFC East got their act together a bit because a few weeks ago, 4 wins wasn’t looking like #4.

While I can agree with looking towards the future when deciding who will play and who will not, any coach that goes into a game trying to lose is not going to be a coach for long.

I’ll believe it when he benches Teddy. 
 

Teddy isn’t making plays to win games because that involves taking risks. He’s also a major reason we’ve lost at least 3 games so far.

Just sounds like Ron Rivera coach speak to me.

Oh and don’t give me the Teddy gives this team the best chance to win BS. The guy just can’t get it done when the pressures on and our record reflects that. Don’t care how much money he is making.
 

Remember when Kyle Allen came back to down to earth and the team gave Grier an opportunity? Grier was terrible so they went back to Allen. If you’re actually trying to win when your season is over there is nothing wrong with that.

I’ll believe Rhule when he tells the truth about something. If he tells the media “we’re not tanking” that’s code for “if we’re ahead by 1-6 points in the fourth quarter, give up a touchdown as soon as you can and DO NOT score again”
