Panthers will try to Trevor. Big time.

It would take an insane amount of draft capital for the Jags to give up the pick. The Jets? Maybe they could have been talked into it. But the Jags GM is smart. He's not trading Trevor.

It's time for Panthers fans to face the music. The minute we signed Teddy we screwed our chances of getting Trevor.

And boy oh boy did OP vouche for him early in the season. That did not end well.

We’d probably have to trade CMC with a 1st round pick and more to move up.

What they should do is tell Lawrence(If he really want to be a Panther) is  to try and tank his stock

CMC doesn't have much trade value with that ass of a contract and him not playing basically at all this year. It would take half of next years draft, some of this years draft, and a number 1 and more from the draft two years from now.

The only chance of that trade even being a possibility is if Lawrence balks at playing for the team sitting at #1. But, that's not completely out of the question. The Jets are a complete dumpster fire and have been for a long time. An interesting wrinkle with the Jags is what if Lawrence and company think Khan is gonna try to pull off a London move?

I expect the Panthers to do everything they possibly can to trade up and land Trevor Lawrence.

Tepper is a long term thinker and landing the best college qb prospect in a decade is the very definition of long term thinking.

Moreover, having a Carolina kid lead this team with such built in fan support is an immediate and substantial cash cow. Can you imagine the mania and jersey sales? My word.

I feel Trevor is plan a,b, and c for these reasons.

Then he needs to tell Rhule to lose the last two games at all cost

There is legitimately a zero percent chance of getting Trevor Lawrence without giving up 4 first round picks. Just not going to happen.

Now that I’m thinking about the draft we no longer have gurney who had a 100% hit rate on first round picks. So now we will begin to experience what it feels like to occasionally miss on prospects. Would really suck if we end up drafting any QB at 3 and he ends up being a Daniel Jones esque prospect.
