Wasn't it a couple of weeks ago Rhule said that PJ Walker has the skills to be a good QB in this league. Yet, they continue to stick with a QB that does nothing but lose.   

Our only win after week 5 has been by PJ Walker.   Granted it was against the Lions but a win in this league is a win.

He made some bad decisions in the red zone but was overall a pretty decent game.

We need to lose. Maybe Walker can become a long-term backup for us, but we can find that out during camp and preseason. Teddy's the best tanker we have other than Grier but going to Grier would be red flag waving level tanking and that's heavily frowned upon.

So are you suggesting that we're tanking? Knowing PJ will probably win one or two games?:thinking:

      The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.

      I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.

      lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
