Panthers GM candidate Ed Dodds now available for hire

After seeing how tough Indianapolis was, I am increasingly hopeful that Ed Dodds is the pick for the Carolina Panthers.

 

Now that the colts season is over, he is available for hire.

The Colts have drafted exceptionally well under Ballard and Dodds there were all kinds of 1st and 2nd year players making plays today. All in on Dodds.

Said it before, but it speaks well of us that Dodds agreed to interview.

He declined to interview with the Browns last year because he didn't feel like he was ready. He added that you generally only get one chance to do something like this and if he was gonna do it, he absolutely wanted to hit it out of the park.

Pittman Jr, Taylor and Blackmon were all starters and played well from this year’s draft. They were drafted in the 2nd/3rd. They didn’t have a first or maybe they traded down, not sure.

They also had a few more players than Leonard and Nelson in 2018. Hines was a 4th rounder and he’s got over 2100 yards in 3 years. Braden Smith has started 3 years at T.

Their 2019 draft was meh, just role players but both 2018 and 2020 drafts got at least 3 solid starters and some role players. Those are good drafts. Coming away with 2 good starting OL, a solid WR, a solid duo of RBs, a stud LB, a starting safety and a bunch of backups is a nice haul in 2 drafts.

He was also a major influence in Seatle during 2007-2016 seasons, leading to 2 superbowls and helped draft wilson and the legion of boom.

Paris Campbell has some talent also, though injuries have derailed the start of his career. I wouldn't count him out just yet!
