Ah gee Mr. Richardson, I know your boys have had quite the showing, but it would be really good for the brand if Peyton went out on top you know?

Say no more Roger, i'm a company man after all.  You know i've done this before

Thanks for understanding Jerry.  Oh and just for good measure, make sure your tackle plays like a turnstile and your QB doesn't jump on any any fumbles

And, for being such a good sport, I'll let you continue to put the NFL logo at midfield...

Missed. Blatantly ignored. Same thing.

I think someone did an analysis and there was like 25 missed calls, and some heavy hitters.   Obviously the helmet to helmets and hits that let to fumbles, then the batted fumble, and many more.

This is when I knew 100% the NFL rigs games to fit a narrative.

LOL.

Can people not take a joke? We have been joking about sports and games being rigged for a long time.   It’s called a joke.   Geez.

of course, as the old saying goes....there is grain of truth to every joke.  poo rigged as hell!  Brady winning.

lol Rigged.

Tell me, if it's rigged, why didn't JR make a huge fuss about it?  What about all the other egotistical billionaire owners who control Goodell, why haven't any of them spoken about it?  Why would they just sit back and agree to let themselves get cheated?

I mean really, how is this supposed to work?  Does anyone really believe 11 figure net worth Tepper would even buy one of the "loser" teams knowing they would never be allowed to win?

Richardson was always NFL first, second and third.  Fans weren't even on his radar

Not sure why JJ picked 2000.   Just saw it and shared.

IT was on CRAs radar cuz I was talking a bit of poo. And OFFC we are 1 and 2 lol. I never had a delusion that the NFL liked us I also think or remember a year where we had the least penalties in the season otherwise. Can't remember if it was 2015 though.

It's almost like most owners don't really care about winning as much as the fans do so long as their toy continues to go up in value every single year....

Ah so JR, and presumably the minority orders too, were in on being screwed with a 'rigged' 2nd superbowl against them.  Extremely sane and not paranoid conspiracy theorist whacko thinking on that one

You don't get it, do you?

They were paid off.  There was a clandestine meeting.  Four guys not associated with the NFL handled handled the actual transaction.

Please don't talk about 03 or 15, it's honestly taken me years to get over that.

I dead ass almost lost my mind after the Denver loss. That's when I realized I was too invested and needed to stop worrying about things I can't control. I tried not to tell myself the league is fake or anything either because that would be probably kill the fun for me.

    • Excellent post. Before yesterday I hadn't posted in about 2 years. I just popped in every once in a while to get updates. A couple of guys around here are excellent at that and one is funny as heck. Then there's MHS831, when I do pop in I always check out your threads. I really appreciate your takes and how you explain them and also the effort you put into it. Plus, your a class act. Grade: A I also came here to mention the UDFA C I understand we signed. I've read that he was ranked in the 6th round for what that's worth. He had a solid career and has traits that are special. He needs to be developed but he has potential and his strength is run blocking and his athleticism fits what we want to do offensively I think.  I think he was a late draft target that they believed was safe so they drafted other players and picked him up after the draft instead. If so, that's smart and very disciplined.    Here's a report on his strengths: SCOUTING REPORT: STRENGTHS Raym is a work in progress with high-end physical traits. He’s extremely light on his feet for a 300-pounder, a natural knee bender who plays with balance and leverage. Solid positional run blocker who flashes the nasty demeanor and killer instinct scouts covet. Shows a good feel for combo blocks, and Raym displays good quickness and flexibility when moving to the second level, capable of sealing the back side on reach blocks He’s a coordinated athlete who can win at the point of attack in the run game, and he can also move to consistently land blocks at the second level. Has the strong leg drive to create movement at the line of scrimmage, consistently putting defenders on the ground. Finishes and doesn't quit; competitor with a positive attitude and leadership traits that coaches admire. He's a dawg. Badass. I think his skills fit what we want to do too. This kid has the potential to be a stud for us. It's true we didn't draft him but we still got him. So, if it's really a big deal, just imagine that we had an extra 6th and drafted this guy there. He was valued there so it's a good pick. In my mind, we got a good center this draft, even if we didn't draft him. We signed him just the same.
    • That blows my mind too.  You know your system and the skill sets you covet--you have hours of game tape, you interview, you measure, you test, you weigh, you time--and 25% is the bar?  Now, I know some teams only have 2-3 openings some years, but dang.
    • 25% of day 2/3 picks would be phenomenal.   NFL Draft Pick Bust Rate Remains Very High - Daily Norseman Assuming the 30% includes first round picks, and that a draft success means the play spends significant amounts of time playing for the team that drafted him, a 25% success rate for day 2/3 picks would be well above average.
