Lance or Stafford if no trade up

Let's say all the others are gone by 8 and no trade up scenarios happen. Would you take Lance or make the Vet QB trade? Would you give up a 2nd or 3rd for him?

Best option if it all goes sideways and the best are gone would be whom? 

Is Lance a pro QB or a last option for a QB needy team?

From what it is looking like, Stafford will cost a 1st plus a couple other future mid round picks. Give me Lance or trade back and take Trask.

They could all be gone by 8 if detroit drafts a qb which is highly likely .  That's Jacksonville, Jets, Falcons, Lions that could pick qbs before us. With Pat's, Vikings, 49ers all wanting to trade up in front of us to get one .

 

If you sit at 8 be prepared to not get any qb and probably go BPA or trade down a few picks

Take the risk I’m not rolling with Teddy and the owner wants to win now. He didn’t spend all that money to lose.

Trading our 8th for Stafford is a no go. The fact we would have to trade it way before we could trade back once or twice makes it a no go. There is no spin that makes this a good thing. It would be a giant failure and a terrible way to begin any good change.

Trey Lance at 8 is what I'm hoping for. 

Stafford has a much higher floor, but I also believe he has a lower ceiling. Afraid with Stafford we'd be trying to find another franchise QB in three years.
