Let's say you are Deshaun Watson, bias aside, where do you want to go?

If he goes to Miami I am seriously making a run at Tua.  If we can get him for a few non-day 1 picks I think that is a steal.  I realize many question his season last year but I think he can be awesome given some time.

Tua IMO has just as much upside as anyone in the draft outside of Trevor.

Or if they draft a QB at #2.

I said earlier, Tua makes Moton the blind side protector.  A win win, if you ask me.  The circumstances, (surgery, covid, preseason--I would not give up on him, but if they do, yes.

So you give someone poo for having a different opinion?  Pretty fugging arrogant.  I never said he would not help--but do you want another elite QB getting pounded because there is no LT, LG, or decent C?  Do you want to go another season without a MLB?  Watson does not tackle people or get them off the field on third down--

I'm not worried about the offensive line, and I'm good with Carter at MLB. He was better than that dip poo Whitehead. And no, I give you poo because of your consistent whining about us winning meaningless games for "culture." Offensive Line was makeshift anyway, and the Draft won't allow you to get a good LT. LG and Center you can find throughout the draft. Creed Hump is expected to be a late second rounder, and that guy is an absolute beast.

You are not worried about the offensive line.  That alone disqualifies the rest of your posts.  Just going to block you because I prefer intelligent discourse.

All depends on what DW wants.

Super Bowls?  Fame?  Endorsements?  Small City Life?  Big City Life?

Don't know the man.

But were it me, I can tell you where I'd be heading.

Miami.

Then: LA, Carolina, San Fran.

You can extrapolate somewhat based on his dissatisfaction with Houston.

He's paid a boatload of money, but the team's not winning. That would make me think winning is at least something of a priority.

Clearly, ownership by non-morons would be nice too.

I think the big market thing is overplayed now. Cam was a huge name in Charlotte. Mahomes is the biggest name in the NFL in KC. It just doesn't matter that much anymore.

If I'm looking across the league, QB issues aside, city wise, I'd want:

NYC (Tribeca, Hudson, or in Manhattan, find a top notch penthouse, then a T-Swift Folklore type-cabin upstate)

Miami (Ocean front home, it's Miami, but I'm in Florida.  Mixed feelings)

LAR (Live near Rivers and Brees in North County SD, I hate LA proper minus a few spots like Highland Park/Silverlake.  Maybe get a spot in Malibu or down near Laguna/Dana Point)

Arizona (I'd get an estate outside of Flagstaff/San Fran Peaks and heli down to Phoenix, maybe grab a nice house outside of Phoenix as well for accessibility)

SF/SEA (Great cities, weather is hit/miss but they're great spots to live.  I'd get something a bit on the outskirts)

Chicago (I'd go for an amazing condo in West Loop and a brownstone in Gold Coast/Oldtown triangle, lakehouse in northern Wisconsin)

--

Charlotte is nice and all but I'd have no interest in living there.  Hell no to ATL.

I'm thinking SF & NYC are the top choices here.

I think the Rams could be players for Stafford but I don't think they have the cap space to absorb Watson while also dealing with Goff's cap blow.

The question was who should Watson want to play for, not whether or not those teams could make it work...

I'm the opposite.

You are probably right, I was thinking they (Texans) prefer to pick one at 3 but maybe not.

Getting back a Young quarterback may at least help them somewhat save face.

That said, no matter what they get back for him, trading away Watson is going to be a wildly unpopular move if it happens.

Because the O-Line wasn’t that bad. Get an LG or Center in the Draft or FA. And it’ll be fine. You posting at all disqualifies your opinion. Shrugs.

    • Two things: 1. Dr. Eric Eager is central to the draft process 2. I know that it was edited, but we didn't hear "Thieneman" one time, not even before the Vikings pick.
    • Why would he sign here as a guard when surely someone would sign him as a tackle?  Assuming he is healthy
    • Went back to watching the highlights. With a sober mind haha. Here is what I saw.    freddie needs to make 1 of those but the rest aren’t on him.    Slavin was BBBBAAAD again last night. Not sure what is going on with these game one Slavin gafs.    miller was ok but had his worst game in the playoffs so far.    nikishin was no good. His his awful turnover led to the first goal at the end of the first period that just can’t happen. ghost was beat like a drum multiple times last night, including the go-ahead goal at the end jarivs wont shoot. He is either hurt or he is struggling mentally and I think it could be a combination of both. He passed up a wide open net on the power-play only to pass it to no one and cleared it himself.     Svech played well. He is getting zero help on that line.    aho. Worst game as a pro. I mean that. He won’t shoot it, passes go to no one and turns it over repeatedly.  He did exactly what they did against Montreal game one when Miller had a turnover. Aho left his man to go help and left the golden Knight player wide open in front of Freddie.  If I was Rod, you Tell Aho when that thing hits your stick you fire it  someone needs to sit him down just him in a room and ask what’s going on. He seems soft, timid and has zero fire.   canes could have won that game   There isn’t a gap between these two teams  they are dead even   Carter Hart’s gonna get lit up in this series. We can beat that guy. the consensus last night was our defense played horrible and our stars won’t score.  clean the defense up. Tell the top line to shoot it everything and we’ll win tomorrow night.   Possibly convincingly.
