Well, it was obvious.  The NFL goes with the best/most interest-drumming storylines.  And the way they influence games is by neutering one team early to where they become more passive and fall behind.  When you let one team play with maximum physicality and tell the other they can't, it makes for a dramatically different game, and one in which the team that isn't favored falls behind and and has little hope of getting back in it.

It was really sad to see how this game played out tonight, but the NFL had their yes men do what they wanted done early, and that was enough.  The NFL is a crooked, disgusting, absolute poo organization.

Roger Goodell has been the worst commissioner in the history of sports.

Yup.  Absolute piece of poo.

The emphasis on image rather than it being about the game has resulted in a complete undercutting of any credibility the league ever had.  From the destruction of the Spygate tapes, the handling of the Ray Rice situation, the blatantly bad officiating in big games, and all the other garbage that has shown Goodell has no moral compass and cares only about the bottom line, it just makes it hard to enjoy many games of consequence anymore.

The 2 games have a lot of similarities. One team getting the brunt of favorable calls but at the same time, their defense just completely manhandling the opposing team to the point it's not clear if it would've mattered. Panthers game would've been a lot more competitive than this at least.

We were considerably more competitive.

It really did feel this way in the 1st half. KC isn't a team that gets shook being behind. They know they can comeback. They were frustrated because they weren't being allowed to compete.

    • You honestly think Tampa would have traded down with a division rival so their rival could land a “generational player” at a massive position of need for TB?   bruh
    • Ya'll better quit throwing shots at Zod. He'll come in here and ban everybody. I had a friend @prosource who was banned in 2015 because he said some very minor things about Zod being an ass to the posters on the main forum after starting the All-Pro one. He said he felt like another level is cool, but don't punch down on people that don't want All-Pro. (He did say that it wasn't going to last long anyways.🤔) I distinctly remember him calling and being like "dude, I got banned, my profile says I don't have access to the Huddle!") I feel like once Tepper came in and cut off all unofficial access to the team, Zod was going to be around less. The All-Pro board had really good photos, even in game stuff, and I remember seeing him behind a little fenced in area at Wofford for non team sanctioned press/photographers after Tepper bought the team. I knew then his ego wouldn't allow him to continue with past fervency and effort with that reduction in access. Dude was literally in the locker room when JR was owner.  I came over in 2011 immediately after finding out this place existed. I was super involved with the Charlotte forum, and fell off after its demise. I will never forget arguing Pep over Ryan Sims on that forum! Who is Ryan Sims some of you may ask? My answer is exactly!
    • And not see him running free. Because has been free a lot more than he gets credit for.    Now what XL does with that when he does see the ball, is on him.
