Voth on the QB situation...

Darin Gantt has said the same or similar things.

Nobody wants to hear that another year with Bridgewater as the starter is a real possibility.

Unfortunately, it appears to be.  Sounds like Voth considers it the most likely possibility at the moment.

NGL, if we go into next season with Bridgewater as our starting QB, I can guarantee you it will be the least engaged I have ever been as a fan of our team.  I definitely will not set aside every Sunday for our games knowing it will just piss me off to no end because of ONE PLAYER.  I have a feeling I'm not alone in that, so if we don't get Watson or Russ, they better hope we land Fields or Lance.  I'm taking the same approach if we draft Mac's fat ass too.  I've had enough mediocrity between Rivera and Bridgewater over the last 10 years.

Not sure why everyone immediately freaks out as if it’s set in stone that Teddy starts in 2021. He literally says ‘much can change’... it’s February 18th!

Houston will eventually have to cave to Watson’s demand of wanting to be traded. As far as the draft goes though, I don’t think the Jets trade that #2 pick.

They won’t they are drafting Wilson. I’m not trading up to 3 even if Miami would trade us for 3rd best qb no way In hell I’m doing that. Giving up a bunch a picks for a third best unknown fug that.

Read the first tweet.

Q: As of today's date, do you think we'll open next season with the same quarterback (Bridgewater)?

A: Correct. Much can change but I'd say as of today, it's Teddy.

    • While I'd love to add him, it just doesn't make sense for where we are at in our re-build right now. The only teams who should be interested are those who have a very legitimate shot at winning the SB this season, as any team who makes the trade is going to be mortgaging their future to make the move. Teams who make these kinds of trades and then give them the massive contract, in the hopes that it will expedite their path to contention, ALWAYS ends up backfiring because they have to give up the 1st round picks that are then needed to help build out the rest of the roster after eating up such a significant chunk of the cap on the new contract. There is no way the Cowboys trade him for anything less than 2 future 1st rounders (and probably more), plus we'll have to make him the highest paid non QB in league history.  Not to mention that it would then have made the Scourton and/or Princely picks a bit of a waste, as those 2nd and 3rd round picks would have been better off used on a ILB or DB
    • Like his approach to pre season that's ro get them out there and play together for a few plays and right about the night before and morning before.  Maybe we can come out the gate on fire I can smell the smoke from here!!   Go Panthers
    • Only 26 years old, fills the biggest hole on our roster. Top 3 at his respective position, yeah fug it how often does a future HOF player become available in their prime?
