And Jimmy G's 2019 was 16 Games

Cam had 15 games this season

So basically Cam accounted for as much in 2020 as Jimmy G did in 2019 but were saying Cam's done, but Jimmy G is a good option.

Jokes.

Are you Cam?

I wish Cam nothing but the best

he gave everything he had

IMHO there isn’t a person in the Huddle who should be bad mouthing him

I do not see it.  Cam was great, but I got so mad when I saw RR running him into the ground.  I knew he was taking a beating--I did not expect the wall this soon, but I thought he had a 10-year shelf life.  We met Cam--his act was not an act. He is like that all the time--at practice, with us, etc.  I wish I loved life as much as he does.

As to the topic, I put this in the same category as I do the articles about the Panthers starting Bridgewater.

It might happen, but it's not ideal and I'd be surprised.

(cue someone illiterately saying "you just compared Newton to Bridgewater)

    • The panthers are such a trash organization at this point that all the huddle can do is argue about which panthers team is historically the worst…good times.
    • Well, hope they're not worried about a torn Labrum or Rotator Cuff, as someone who went through that myself, I know those don't have anything show up on X-Rays but from the MRI, so this is kinda a nothing update, hope it's not a tear or his season is already over if they decide to do surgery now. Which is basically what would be needed to get him to 100% for the start of next season's training camp if it's a labrum.  If he plays the season with it and then does surgery, he's not going to be ready for camp and probably not the start of the season either.
    • I always try to not pay much attention to a team’s preseason win/loss record. The 1982 Washington and 2021 LA Rams both lost every game in the preseason and went on to win the Super Bowl, whereas the 2008 Detroit Lions and 2017 Cleveland Browns both won every game in reason and went on to lose every regular season game. There’s many examples of teams that lose in preseason that go on to have good seasons, but equally there are teams that lose in preseason and that continues in the regular season. Which will we be?  I think our floor is a handful of wins, while our ceiling will probably be around the 9-10 win mark. The latter will require significant improvement from the whole team and coaching staff, and will also need Bryce to play like the QB we drafted him to be. I want to be optimistic and predict a winning season, but it’s really difficult as a Panthers fan!
