It's quite common for athletes to get massages and mobility work.

What I find unusual is that he brought in people from outside the organization.

Why wouldn't he use the training room and team trainers?

Given how many Chiropractors there are which usually have massage therapy specialists in there as well AND since insurance typically doesn't cover it AND it is typically expensive I'd say yea people need it and do go.

For me the better question would be wtf are you doing to where you DONT need an adjustment/get the knots out. So many people tense up in ways they don't even know and the tightening muscles pull(or push) on your bones which over time gets them out of alignment which then slips the disc or damages a nerve etc. It's almost never simply "oh I just bend over and there went my back".

Your back went because it's tight and never been stretched out and the force being applied on it by your own muscles over time slipped the disc when you incorrectly bent down.

Honestly if Chiro was accepted by insurance it'd put a lot of other poo doctors out of business b/c it actually works without pills and poo.

I said it earlier in the thread as a joke, but it actually is true. Other than Roddy White's dumb tweet ... there sure are a LOT of fellow athletes in all sports being verrrrry quiet right now. Probably scrubbing their social accounts, lol. Dudes gotta learn to just stay off Snapchat, Kik, TikTok, and IG. Politicians too, lol.

That was sorta my point.  Outside of his work and being 25.  Massages?

Just now, Mr. Scot said:

Number of accusers has now risen to a dozen.

This is deep sh-t.

As recently as This month...

Either way this lawyer is a straight up liar though and all about himself. That’s not dismissing accusations or accusers but holy poo his conference is baaaad, talking only about himself.

    • Former league executive and current NFL.com analyst Marc Ross recently named his top second-year breakout candidates for the upcoming campaign. Ross includes Legette, who may be helped out by his team's latest first-round selection. He writes: Legette had a slow start to his NFL career, catching 49 passes for 497 yards and four touchdowns last season. Some of the struggles can be tied to his own growing pains -- he had eight drops on 81 targets, according to Pro Football Focus -- but he had also had to navigate the quarterback shuffle between Bryce Young and Andy Dalton early in Dave Canales' first season leading the Panthers. Canales recently said he believes Carolina has a DK Metcalf-like talent in Legette, who had foot surgery this offseason but was cleared to resume work in early April, and that having a full offseason alongside Young, who took a significant step forward in 2024, could lead to a breakout result in 2025. I anticipate it will also help that Carolina invested another first-round pick in a wide receiver, Arizona's Tetairoa McMillan, to complement Legette in the pass game. McMillan's presence, however, could take some pressure off Legette—who may be able to roam around in a more natural playmaking role. With the 6-foot-4 All-American likely to take on the bulk of the volume from Young, Legette should have some cleaner shots to break out downfield and in the box score.     https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/05/06/panthers-wr-xaiver-legette-top-breakout-candidates-2025/83475176007/?taid=681a4610ede05d000149b376&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter
