I would easily do Patriots 2021 2nd, Patriots 2022 2nd,  2022 4th to move back to the Patriots spot

 

Edit: if Pitts and Chase aren't there. at 15 we can still get an elite player because of all the QB's taken. one or more of Waddle, Devonta Smith, Slater, Surtain Jr., Vera-Tucker, Darrisaw will be there

I don't want to trade down. I want to stick at 8 and take Penei Sewell or Rashaan Slater.

Agree. We trade down too much and we miss out on a starting LT

Darrisaw isn't as good but if we get a first next year from the Pats or whatever you take that all day. I would only hesitate on Sewell who is probably the best OT prospect since Orlando Pace. Slater is good but the gap between Darrisaw and Slater isn't huge. If it's just Slater there at 8 and we get a call from the Pats you take that all day.

You better hope that someone doesn't blow us away with an offer with Fitt's thinking. I mean with other OTs like Darrisaw, Radunz and Cosmi waiting later.

Slater is a bulldozer and may be the most technically advanced OT in the draft. Those short arms are the knock, but there have been great LTs with short arms.

Fitt's likes our top 10 picks in each round. I doubt he trades back at all during the first 2 days of the draft.

Yep. If Darnold pans out and can run the Brady offense and we stay healthy...I like our chances in the South. Add a possible pro bowl LT for the next 10 years and it elevates the likelihood that Darnold pans out.

I'm fine with drafting a LT. If Darnold doesn't work out the next QB is still gonna need a LT. Let's not put anymore QBs behind the OLs we put in front of Cam.

Darnold is only 23 years old.

As someone mentioned on Twitter, Sewell is only 20.

Just 20 years old...and since he sat out a year, those clips you're watching are of a 19 year old kid throwing people around.

We get this kid, I'm gonna be doing the Snoopy dance.
